I'm going to shop for a dress fir the first time tomorrow afternoon and I was wondering how much alterations cost (on average)? I had a budget for the dress, but quickly realized that I would have to factor in alterations, especially since my body type is so out of proportion. My friend said her alterations were $500, but that seems off, especially since it didn't even fit her well.
