Anyone making their own bouquets?

I just can't fathom having 600 + spent on flowers when I'm not that big of a flower person to begin with.  My sister made her own bouquets, and bought flowers from Sam's club and they looked amazing and made 5 for $150.  My question is, to any of you December brides doing this, what flowers are in season in December?  What flowers are you using/ how are you doing it? Thanks!

I am making my own bouquet out of fabric flowers. It's very inexpensive.

I made my own bouquets using the real touch roses and cala lillies from hobby lobby.  I decided it is too cold here in December to use live ones.

I used a kitchen whisk for the base. I stretched out the wire until it formed a circle/oval. I stuffed the inside with pillow filling & tied a piece of pink cotton fabric around it to keep the shape of a ball inside (just for support & so if there are little spaces, you just see the pink fabric)

I found tutorials on Pinterest for the flowers and I used old buttons/earrings/pearls for the center. I just gathered different types & colors of fabric. I just hot glued them all around. Very easy & inexpensive - and in my opinion, way more unique that real flowers.

I am doing the same! I was inspired by brooch bouquets. It is also only part done and I don't have photos yet. I started it like a week ago.

I'm making my own...I'm using nothing but baby's breath. I'm thinking that it shouldn't cost no more than 50

I tried and it's not that easy unless you're really talented.  I was just plain tired and didn't have a creative bone left in my body.  Check out Love the Blooms on Etsy.com.  Very affordable

i made mine, its ivory with broches, pearls, lace and a few touches of feathers....it does take patience but anyone can do it!
