How far ahead are you sending out your invites???  The website planner says 3 months but the due date is like 2 months out.  Plus my wedding is like 4 days before Christmas so I am worried about people planning parties and other things during that time.

our wedding is dec 29th. we sent them out yesterday because of the "holiday season". we treated it as a destination wedding.

Our date is 12-1-12. I'm going to the post office tomorrow! YAY!

I plan to send mine by 09.28.12, RSVP date 11.10.12, wedding 12.08.12 (I wanted to give myself an extra 2 weeks to call people who don't RSVP timely) counts are due two weeks prior.

My wedding is 12/8/12 and we are mailing out the invitations next week (probably 9/24/12) -- I think the above brides are right... the closer you are to Christmas, the more you have to assume people will make other plans (work Christmas parties, go visit family) so you should give them more heads up on the wedding!

My wedding is 12/30 and I think I will send my invites out the first week of October.

 I am getting married December 21st as well, I mailed mine out on September 7th. My aunt suggested sending them out early and also my venue needs a "guaranteed" head count for the Reception lunch 2 months out.

My date is 12/30/12 and I mailed my invites on Monday.  People have already gotten them and I've gotten a lot of compliments.
