Snarky Brides

WWYD? Present Conundrum (sp?)

I am my bff's + 1 to a wedding reception this weekend. Her husband is OOT for Army  training and she asked the bride if I could come instead. Note: My BFF and I often attend family functions with each other so I know a lot of the family members.

Anyway, I have neither met the Bride or Groom but I still want to give them a gift, something small like a gift card or resturant gift card, since they graciously extended an invitation to me. Is this appropirate or will it just confuse the crap out of them when they try to figure out who "Rachel" is when they open girts? LOL

  • You could write, Rachel (bff's friend).

  • Since your BFF asked if you could be her +1 I would hope she told them your name but if you are worried about them forgetting or something then I would just put your name and something like "BFF's friend" or "BFF's +1."
  • I would probably add it in to whatever your friend is giving them.  Then write a small note thanking them for having you when you sign the card.
