Lucky.  I had the biggest craving for steamed dumplings earlier.

I'm attempting to make cinnamon bread.  Second time's the charm.  I think I'm the only person I know who can fuuuuck up bread in a breadmaker.

This may be a P&R depending on how close dinner is to being completed.

    ETA: Know, not knows.  Dammit.

  • I'm not watching Shark week. I'm not a fan. But I am excited to watch so you think you can dance tonight!

  • Hey Blue. I'm just wrapping up my day at work. Then it's an ass kicking workout and figure out something for dinner. Can we say ass?
  • Apparently, Nicole!

  • I think it's funny on tv shows it's always assBLEEP instead of BLEEPhole.
  • I'm so pumped. My mom is coming into town for the weekend and we are going to stay on the beach tomorrow night.

A groupon was sent to me this morning for a spa right down the street from the hotel. I got us each a 60 minute facial for $50.

  • Hike that sounds glorious! I hope you enjoy your time with your mom. I'm so jealous. My mom and I are planning a girls weekend soon hopefully, I'll have to see if I can find anything like that.
  • Hike- what a deal!

Im petrified of sharks.  I dont go in the ocean or water that dumps into the ocean, or even lakes because of this fear.

  • I hate any water that has anything alive in it.

  • I'm about to get a shower then make dinner, tacos. I smell like salt water, which I love, but it's deceiving because there is also dolphin poo on me. Thanks for that parting gift, Roxy the Dolphin.

I am terrified of sharks and sea monsters. I rarely go into the ocean. But I'd choose the ocean over lakes because I'm more afraid of gators.

Hike, I got your card today. Thanks, I totally forgot about it!
  • Hike, that sounds awesome.

Bay, I can bake almost anything except bread.  I don't know how I always manage to screw it up.

  • Hi! We celebrated shark week last night by letting Ben watch jaws. He loved it. My kid has awesome taste in movies.
  • Lol Cew- Jaws is the reason I fear sharks.

  • How was the dolphin swin Sesh?

    Cew, how old is Ben?
    image
  • Ha! 30 years younger than me and can handle movies I can't.

  • Oh good Sesh! I feel like an asshole that it took me so long!

  • It was a lot of fun, girlie. We got to do a lot in a relatively short timeframe. Here is a pic:

  • It's kind of crazy. He gets scared, but he's never had a nightmare after seeing something scary. I was the same way as a kid. My favorite movies were super scary. I remember falling in love with The Shining and the Exorcist when I was like 10.
  • Aww Sesh.  Love it!

Cew, I still refuse to watch both of those movies. I don't even like seeing the scenes from The Shining that play on the drive in screen in Twister.
    image
  • I love scary movies but I always get nightmares, so I can't watch them often. I like more psychological scary than gore scary though. I'm not a fan of slasher flick.s. (WTF I can't say another term for "movie"?)
  • I cant do horror movies.  I just cant.

  • I can't do horror movies either.  They freak me out too much.

Did you know that more people die by white-tailed deer than by sharks? Actually, I think the deer kill more people than like all of the reptile/rodent bites combined.

Anyone know a good way to break in and stretch out shoes? I bought a pair of pumps that are slightly too small for me because I am right between sizes and the bigger ones kept falling off.

Me either. I spend half the movie covering my eyes and asking if the scary/gory/whatever part is over yet. I'm sure I'm a joy to watch them with.

...although, I was a HUGE fan of the first Scream movie when I was younger...15 years ago. Wow - put that in the 'makes me feel old' category.

I broke in my wedding shoes by wearing them with a couple pairs of extra thick socks and strolling around the house. It wasn't the most attractive method, but it got the job done.
  • I would love some Chinese food, thanks!  Beef with broccoli and an order of potstickers, if you don't mind.

I just ate half a store-bought pizza and I'm still hungry.

I swim in lakes and oceans whenever I get the opportunity.
  • Haha, no humping. They were wellbehaved dolphins.
