I know!  He's a decent looking guy, but I think his humor/personality on the show is what makes him sexy.  FI thinks I'm weird that I have a crush on him.  LOL.

I wish H had 1/10th the humor that Josh has. I mean H is funny, but nothing compared to Josh. H makes fun of me for my crush on him, but I think he "gets" it, because Josh's personality is so likeable.

Yeah, FI is actually pretty funny (we have very similar sense of humor), but I think Josh is just more witty, if that makes sense.  Then again, I'm sure they edit the hell out of that show and his comedic timing probably isn't exactly what it appears to be, but still.  I have a celebrity crush on 'DT Josh', not 'probably what he's like in person Josh'.  LOL.  Although I'm sure he's still pretty funny in person too.

Yep, that makes sense. I'm guessing he is still pretty funny IRL too. I do wonder if he has issues with vehicles breaking down as often IRL though, ha.

omg kcullen, you just nailed all my other girl infatuations. Mind meld. I would love to dissect the L word with you. I have a love/hate relationship with that show, mostly hate. But how can I not love some of it, you know?

Jennifer Beals's character is my dream girl because she is smart, independent, PC, art historian, sharp.

But Sarah Shahi's character was the girl I've always gone for in real life. But she doesn't really exist so perfectly the way they portray her as Carmen. Basically, (unrealistic) Carmen was what I was always looking for when I should had been going for the Jennifer Beals the whole time.

Okay, that was kind of personal, prob should have put that in a PM, but I don't care. Anybody else torture themselves with soap opera The L word?*

*I should clarify that if you answer with "I love Shane, she's so hot", I will shun you, Fishy style.

Ditto. Though I like to call it a drama like Six Feet Under or Sopranos or any of those other cable dramas, but I guess it's kind of a soap opera, a very high cost production soap opera lol. I mostly loved The L Word.  Ok well the first three seasons at least, it was kind of down hill after Dana left (I loved her too - so adorable) and the Bette & Tina shiit hit the fan. The last season was awful and such a horrible way to end such a great show, it was boring as fvck.

I'm a Tina with some Alice mixed. J is a sweeter version of Bette (so with a little Dana mixed in) - we're so made for each other <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />.

On the downside the L Word, and it's "reality" spin off The Real L Word are very high gloss pretty lesbian and don't represent all lesbians very well and I know a lot of girls have an issue with that. I don't personally. It's TV, it's supposed to be shiny and pretty and sexy, and it was.

</div><div>Pretty much nailed it on the freakin' head right here. So so true. All of it.</div><div>
</div><div>I totally forgot about Alice and Dana, they are both awesome characters, I am totally Alice though so I couldn't do her or it'd be like doing myself.</div><div>
</div><div>Regarding Shane; being from Portland, freakin' Lesbian capitol of the West coast, every single girl and their girlfriend are obsessed with Shane and dress like her, and have all of her layered 'dos. They think she is the epitome of cool. BARF. Nothing against that actress, just the character Shane, and her stupid hair. It didn't help that she was the one to hook up with my fantasy girl Carmen. I was pretty raging at Shane at that point.</div><div>
</div><div>Regarding the prettiness; I have heard from this vocal group as well. One of my dearest friends and I had a loooong convo about how we both love to hate it. We ragged on the reality of it, I remember the convo started with, "Have you been watching the L word? .... okay, okay, but can you believe Shane is suppose to be the 'butch' one?! Bahahahaha." We seriously we in tears laughing just considering Shane butch. Good times. The prettiness isn't really what bugs me though, I'm not really a drama hound and the drama was just so over-the-top. I still watched every episode though, so it shows there was good writing and sex scenes to keep me coming back. :)</div><div>
</div><div>SPEAKING of WHICH: I googled "top ten hottest sex scenes" of the L word a while back, because I wanted to see if mine made it on the list. It didn't even make any of the lists, I was pissed! Good thing to youtube: actors talk about their favorite all-time scenes. It's pretty surprising, have you seen it?</div><div>
</div><div>AAAnnnd, since I dissed on it so long, I have to end it with my favorite thing about the show: the historic lesbian opener that somehow relates to the episode! It was SO well done, well written, always hooked me in.</div><div>
</div><div>YGPM to tell you my fave scene, I'm too shy here.

Yeah Shane was far from butch lol. I loved the way the show openned to, it was a very well written show, and the lighting and music production were great too. And Pam Greer was awesome on that show too, I loved Kit.

I haven't seen the top ten sex scenes thing, I will have to look for it on You Tube. And YGPM back.
