Yay so exciting!! Did you find anything you liked?? I miss dress shopping, that was one of my very favorite parts of wedding planning!

I found 2 I liked, one more than the other. I'm hoping next week I can try another shop!

I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed it. I hate going shopping and having to try things on, but this wasn't so bad!

This kind of makes me upset that I found my dress so quickly! I have heard that you should stop shopping when you find "the dress", though, so I did. Good luck on finding something you love!

 I liked the second one best in the store, but after I got home and looked at the pics I wasn't so sure.

And my internet is being sucktastic tonight so I'm a little slow in replying.

Great dresses, both of them I am a little partial to the second one. Speaking of shades of white, something I saw when I shopped was that white-white, or what they sometimes call "diamond white" is far more flattering for most people then the "how to buy a wedding dress" guides would have you believe. Ivory can look really dingy on some skin types. I thought I wanted Ivory and it just looked bad on me. I am fair skinned and that is supposedly a skin tone that is bad for white and good for Ivory.

I'm a fan of the first one.  I think the lines on the second one draw my eyes to the wrong place, thought its hard to actually tell from this picture.

Also, Lenore that's interesting about the white-white and diamond white. I hadn't heard of that before.

Those are great! My favorite is definitely the first because it looks fantastic on you but I've also never seen a dress like the second one which is always something to consider! And yeah what color are you thinking?? I'm the opposite of Lenore, I thought I wanted a bright white dress but I ended up falling in love with this ivory called Light Gold. I tried the sample of my dress on in both white and the light gold but my particular dress looked horrible on me in white. There's so much to think about when dress shopping!!!

I also know what you mean about loving one in the store and then having pictures make you second guess it. I tried on one dress that was super sparkly and princessy and the fit was very flattering, I loved it in the store, but then when I got home I started thinking I looked more like a Disney Princess than a bride. Hmm.

Thanks for your input ladies! I'm pretty clueless when it comes to the different colors of white. lol I wasn't very fond of the ivory on the racks, but I didn't try on anything in that color so when I go back I should probably make it a point to try one just to see how it looks.

Dazed, I kinda see what you're talking about. When I go back I'll try to get a better picture of that one.

lol Jenna. With some of the ones I saw yesterday I can understand that.

I think you should try an ivory. Out skin tones are similar, and the ivory and champagne in my dress really looks much better on me than the white dresses did. I live the style of the first one best on you, but keep looking. You'll know when you find it!

JC: I'm really indecisive about most things, so I think I'm going to be 10 times worse on dresses. I'm hoping for the OMG, this is it!! moment. lol I think once I hit that I'm not even going to look at pics of me in it. And I love your puppy!
