<div>Me too.  I think they revamped the line in the early 2000s, but I had Pound Puppies in my childhood.  I didn't have the really big ones.  I remember having the smaller ones.  </div>

sorry newb question - I have to say I'm having a heck of a time figuring out some of these acronyms but i think I got the PIP -- picture in post? What does ayg? or whatever the title the recent post was? I managed to read that entire thread and am still not sure what it means.

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: PIP party : one time I went to Target with some friends to get headbands. We got those wider ones with the little grippy bumps. Then spent the 15 minute car ride trying to figure out WTF they smelled like. Months later I went to use one and went 'OMG this smells like a freaking Koosh ball.'

I was wearing a new pair of jeans yesterday, a really dark wash, and I could smell them and I couldn't figure out what it reminded me of.  Turns out, it was when I worked in JCP in the Juniors department and would have to organize the massive jeans wall during the summers.  So weird.

Yes!  My dad's bank transferred him there for 3 years.  This was eons ago - early 80s - I was pretty young but I remember a lot.  We lived in an apartment building right on Repulse Bay.  The 27th floor - it was pretty scary in typhoon season!  My favorite memories are of Stanley Market, and Victoria Park.  I wish I knew the name of the beach we used to go to, it was a bit of a drive from what I remember.  I also went to a Montessori school while there.

<div>YES! They were banned in my elementary school because some kid cut himself with one accidentally, and they were a distraction in class since kids would play with them all the time.  </div>

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: PIP party : Ah, South District is so lovely, and Stanley market is awesome. We're on the 46th floor of our building, and I can definitely attest to the typhoon fear.  We actually moved in during a Signal 8, so that's an experience I don't wish to repeat!

Whoa, scary!  I sometimes wonder if my fear of elevators comes from our time living there.  I don't remember a specific incident though.
