This is going to sound so silly, but I absolutely love the pens you recommended!! I spent a really long time with them on Saturday night/Sunday morning doing my bridal shower thank yous, and they write better than any pen I have ever used. Absolutely no smudges! and my horrible handwriting, for some reason, looked better than it usually does. So thank you!!!

    Ooh I didn't even think about guest book pens. Do you know if this writes on photopaper? Our guest book is a photo book of e-pics.

    bmore - i actually am not sure....I don't know how I would describe them, other than, they write really well and never smudge!

    Butterfly I"m SOOOO glad you like them. I had confidence that they were great quality pens but was worried that you wouldn't like them. Ahh sigh of relief!!!!!

    Ladies these pens were sent to me to use with my guestbook puzzle, meaning they are good enough to write on wood. I used them to address all of my invitations, thank you cards, etc... and they are fantastic (and affordable)!  They are called Sakura Micron Pens and they are exactly what butterfly ordered from Amazon.

    Do you think they'd work on gold foil? I'm wondering if they'd work on my doilies for my place settings. I'm having trouble finding something because I'm concerned that it'll rip the foil if it's not a marker, but then a marker will smudge when the charger goes on top of it, right?

    bridetobe - I would say it is worth a try. They are cheap, and really nice pens, so even if it didn't work on the foil, I am sure you would end up using them elsewhere.

    That's true. I just purchased some stuff from Amazon last week so I was hoping to not have to do ANOTHER package to my house (my doormen are starting to judge me!). hahaha

    THESE PENS ARE AWESOME!!!  I have a few in my scrapbooking supplies!! Totally forgot about them until now!!  They work really well on writing on different papers...haven't tried them on anything metallic or foiled though.
