Hi!

So thrilled your dress was the Hampton.  It looks better on you then on the model in the pictures!  What color was your dress and what color was the beadwork?

My dress was the light gold with ivory lace! I always thought I'd have a bright white dress but I tried on the dress in both colors and the gold looked so much better on me!

Which colors did you get?? I'm so excited that it's your dress too! I'm biased (obviously) but I am obsessed with it!

I got it in diamond white with pewter accents.  Despite being Italian I have very fair skin.  In Jan when I get married any hint of a tan will be gone.  The gold, ivory, and cream colors made me look like death even with a tan.  I have very dark hair but king gold/green eyes so the diamond white looked the best.  I decided to do the pewter accents because of Blue.  She recommended doing that (cause she did that with her Maggie dress) so that the beading stands out.  I cannot wait to get my dress.  I'd like it now.  How did you have your bustle?

I was definitely waiting impatiently for my dress! I think you definitely made the right choice by choosing the pewter accents, I bet it will be stunning! When is it supposed to come in?

I did a french bustle. The women who own the boutique where I got my dress do the bustle for free because they are so particular about it that they don't want you going anywhere else lol It was pretty convenient.  Here's a picture of it.

My dress comes in sometime in late October.  Which is great but I'm going to wait to try it on.  I know that will slowly suck my soul to wait......but I'm still losing weight and I want to to really only have to alter it once or twice.  I also would prefer to have my corset when I try it one since that will also influence my shape. 

I love the French bustle.  My bridal salon is also particular.  I think they charge $25 to do the bustle.  Perfect.  Right now I'm going a tad crazy because the vendor who does the cakes for the wedding (mine was included in the package) isn't getting great reviews and the venue's in house baker just came back.  So I'm kinda feeling shuffled around.

Ahhh waiting to try it on will be torture!! It's probably a good idea though, my dress came in two months before the wedding and I had to get my bridals done 6 weeks before so I had to try it on right away.

Hmm what are the reviews saying?? That's pretty scary! Have you talked to the in-house baker yet?? Can you switch bakers??
