Happy Wednesday morning-I am glad this week is chugging along to a Friday. 

I have a very busy next few days ahead of me, it was nice to be able to spend so much time here yesterday.

Thanks everyone for yesterday. Loved "seeing" MM again, loved AATB's thread, and just plain enjoyed what everyone had to say all around.

Tomorrow is my Friday, so yay for me. I have some bit of good news. I asked my supervisor yesterday about the possibility of a raise, and he said there was a chance I could get one. He said they don't just hand them out though, so I have to put together a resume of accomplishments the past 6 months to show why I deserve one, then present it to the big boss. He also said big boss is getting with me soon for a side project, which tells me they trust me to handle more so maybe I have a shot after all.

So today and tonight I'm working on my resume, and hoping for the best.

Good morning, everyone!

I'm in some kind of weird time-space continuum where I'm not on East or West coast time, so I'm up and waiting for Petsmart to open so I can pick up the dog. 

I caught up with some of the newer threads yesterday and I'm with Lenore about AATB's thread.  It definitely made my night/day.

On a side AW note, I did check my grades today and I have two A's and an A+ so I'm still rocking a 4.0 so far.  After the fall semester I'll be done with my requirements and all I'll have to take are some electives.  Yay, Master's! We want to have school done before the wedding.

Im not sure yet how I feel about today, yesterday was most people at my works last day and the only people left arent in today for the most part so I am going to be completely alone in my office and that always freaks me out. While it will be nice to not get bugged so I can get work done, I dont like being totally alone. Im also considering running tonight after work. Ive decided im grandiously fat and need to stop being a butt.

Thanks for the good lucks! My supervisor just gave me the resume he put together for his raise a few weeks ago so I can use that as a guide and is going to put together a table showing my increase in production, so I know he'll fight for me too. It's good, but I don't want to get my hopes up so we'll see what happens.

I am running errands, cleaning and going to the gym today before we leave for the cottage this afternoon. We are only going for a couple of days, coming home late Friday night. Just our last two days of 'summer' before we start to face the reality of going back to work. I just checked the forecast and it is raining up north tomorrow and then is supposed to be beautiful for the next six days...too bad we will only get to enjoy one day of it (Friday). Oh well.

I never mentioned it on here but on Monday FI's grandma had a heart attack. She is our last living grandparent and she lost her husband just over a year ago (I lost my grandmother in June)...anyways, she had an angiogram yesterday and one valve is blocked at 99%, the other 95% and a third has 'considerable' blockage. Apparently they put something in during the angiogram to improve the blood flow temporarily while they decided when the angioplasty will be. I am impressed that they are even going to do an angioplasty on an 81 year-old but I suppose that with that much blockage there isn't that much choice and the benefits likely out-weigh the risks. It's just a lot for FIs mom and aunt right now...

Morning.  I don't usually jump in on these threads but why not, it's hump day. This week is dragging - as will next week - because it's so close to my wedding and it feels like christmas when I was 9. 

Nebb - have fun running. I only run if someone's chasing me, or if there's a good sale. Do you run often?  I really want to teach myself to run for enjoyment...eek.
NPA - awesome 4.0! I just got my grades back too, so we're grade twins.
Raynes - I don't really know you or your style, but I think you'd be a good brunette...auburn maybe. yes, no?

Morning!  I stayed home from work again today, thanks to my super fantastic cold/cough/allergies of doom.  I have a dr appt this morning though, so hopefully they can do something.

Hey Steph.  It went alright.  Just before he got here (a little over half an hour late) my boss asked me how he was doing.  I told my boss what was going on and he said he'd take care of it so I just asked coworker if he had followed up on something, rather than confronting him.  He did leave early yesterday, though, while I was stuck here 2.5 hours past when I was supposed to go home

He has one more day to get his act together before I go talk to my boss again, and at that point he won't have a leg to stand on.

misc: My pt session was ok, my trainer is sick so she didnt really work me too hard but my ass muscles still hurt today. I know im not FAT but im fattER than I was a month ago, or I atleast feel it. Ive gained about 1" around my middle since I stopped working out so I need to nip this in the bud - I always promised myself I would NEVER gain all that weight back so I cant let it happen. I dont run a LOT but I find I lose weight faster when I run than when I do anything else. I was running a lot more at the beginning of the year and I lost 2" from my midsection in a month without changing anything else. Sooooo I like running enough for that reason.

Morning all. I'm - here. Three nights of not sleeping well are wearing on me. I'll be glad when this week is over.

Funny coincidence, though - my dad just found out he'd been working with (sort of) a guy I worked in Miami with 15 years ago. They were at a conference, and were sitting across from each other, and Ignacio I guess told him he used to work in Miami. He'd just never connected my dad with my name. I got an email from him last night, and I'm going to look his wife up on FB. Tickled me to death.

I am trying to patiently wait on my final grade for my first class...that's probably the most exciting thing I have going on all day...ha!  But I'm pretty sure I got an A.

Oh, and I forgot to say that I accidentally punched H in the face last night. I was having a nightmare and he was trying to wake me up, and I apparently socked him in the chin. Now he has a small bruise and I teel terrible, so I have to do something super nice for him tonight. He's not mad or anything, but man do I feel like an ass.

B, your situation just yesterday sounds well worth a . I hope the guilty party either straightens up and flies right or is made to go away. Like there are not a thousand people in line for most jobs in this economy!
