I know I've been a frantic PW. But I felt the need to share this story.
Over the past week or so I've had moments that make me shake my fists in the air. Last night, I ran over to my parents house to work out some wedding details. I have a BEAST of a car. Everytime my brother fixes something on it, he encourages me to invest in a down payment for a good car and a good pair of sneakers when it finally breaks down forever. So, of course, on the way home, my car breaks down. I'm able to pull it on the side of a country road and my dad was luckily able to meet me.
As he's checking out my car, this little kitten walks up to me and meows. As many of you know, I'm not a big cat fan. But, I do have a heart. Dad is a bit like me and doesn't really like cats either. But it's a kitty! It was so cute. So I say, "Aww. Hey there, kitty. I don't really like cats, but you're adorable." And I pet it a little bit and my dad chuckles. He gets the car just about fixed and another kitten walks up. Then another. Then another. AND WE GET KITTY ATTACKED. I mean, all these kittens came out of nowhere. So both Dad and I are scooping up all these kittens trying to save their little kitten lives and get them back to the other side of the road. We both had kittens from our shoulders to our hands yelling, "We have to save the kittens!" We finally wrangled them across the street where they belong.
So. Be nice to me. I helped save a gaggle of kittens.
