Hi ladies! My name is Maura, I just got engaged a couple months ago! We are planning a December 2011 wedding (I know, it's a while away!). Our engagement is long because I am finishing up grad school and we need time to save as we are paying for the wedding ourselves. We live on the NH/Mass border and have two cats :)

So far we have our venue chosen, Atkinson Country Club, and we have a DJ, DJ Dave Lynch and a videographer, Curtis Weddings. I am sure I will be asking for help with other vendors soon!

    Welcome and happy planning! We are using Rebecca Curtis for our March 27th wedding, she has been wonderful to deal with! Probably one of my favorite vendors that I have corresponded with during this whole process!

    Welcome and congrats!! ACC did a fantastic job with my FBIL's wedding in '07. Several ladies on this board have had/will have their weddings there. We are also using Dave Lynch - he gets great reviews here as well! 

    I was in the same boat as you (finishing grad school and saving money). It flies by. Be glad you are planning early!!!

    Welcome!!! My fiance and I had a long engagement as well mainly because we were still in school, it leaves lots of time for planning!

    I am using Rebecca and Dave as well LOVE them!!!

    And the ACC is a really nice place! I am going to a wedding there in April :)

    Thanks girls! We love ACC so far, they have been so helpful. And I saw Dave Lynch at my friend's wedding which is why we booked him, same with Rebecca Curtis, our friend used her and I loved their video.

    I am in grad school at UNH for Marriage and Family Therapy :)

    Rebecca filmed our video - we loved it!  Definitely get the online short video if she's still offering it - it's my favorite part.
