  • I'm guessing it's pronounced Presley?

  • This goes beyond the name to the horrific pink, the "princess" plague, the Mrs. Derrick Adams soon to be Mama Adams self-description, the fact that the mother to be looks all of 18.
    image
  • I dunno it could be like lee-ah at the end.
  • I was thinking Press-leah but your pronounciation  makes more sense.
  • I'm in the f'ed up spelling of Presley stroller.

  • I can't read and I thought this was called, "Interesting Game."  I have been sitting here trying to figure out what the game is.  It's going to be one of those days. That room makes me sad.
  • That is a horrific amount of pink.
    image
  • Oh, yeah, she's 21 and lists her hobbies as collecting Elvis shiit, so I think it's definitely Presley.

  • Gag me with the white walls, though the idea of using stuff from her nursery is cute.

  • that girl is going to have a hatred for her name as well as the color pink
  • If by interesting name you mean dreadful, yes! Why why why spell it like that??

  • The white walls are the thing you dislike here?
    image
  • Well that hasn't already been mentioned.  It makes the pink look even more Pepto colored.

  • Why why why spell it like that??My guess is the thought process went like this:OMG!!! We're pg!!  Let's talk about names b/c that's funner than thinking about the fact that we're having a baby at 21.   Elvis is the coolest EVA! We should name the baby Presley!!!  But, oh, no what if it's a girl?  Presley is a boy's name.  :(:(:(  I know!!  We'll spell it Preslea!!!!!  That's makes it girly!!!!!!!!
    image
  • I'm not a huge fan of Preslea, but it almost sounds like a normal name with an only slightly unusual spelling compared to most of what we get.

  • what kind of packrat keeps stuff from a 22 yr old nursery?  I'm ticking.  I'm ticking.
  • It's just too much pink against the white.  I can understand not painting if they don't own, but it def. needs more than just pink in the room.
  • I'm irritated by the lopsided letters, they must have access to a level, ruler or something.

  • I'm ticking with you on that, Exp.

  • When my friend had Liam the DTS, her MIL brought out a bunch of her H's old baby stuff.  He was 40 or 41 at the time.  She had saved some of his clothes and toys for that long.  I have a feeling I'm going to be that packratty.

  • My mom kept some of my outfits, booties, special toys etc. But none of the decor.

  • My mom has one or two outfits with special memories saved from my brother and I being babies. I'd say that's fairly normal. Saving a whole nursery's worth of stuff, however, is GROSS.

  • Thank you, Camaro, for that riveting bit of info that we would otherwise not have known.

  • Look Buddha's talking to herself again.
  • confession: I saw the clown painting I grew up having on my wall at my 'rents last night and I took it. IT'S A CLOWN. But I like it. He's riding a unicycle and juggling, not slicing open the kiddie's throats.
    image
  • But Tasty you'll give your kid a false sense of safety around clowns. That's where the danger lies. Might as well let them think hippos are cute and cuddly at that point.

  • I totally get saving a special item or two, but I think she's talking about the pictures, etc., which don't look esp. special.

  • Ughhhh.  Clowns from the '70s.  I just got the chills. I'll admit it.  I have a toy in Andy's room that I grew up with.  He doesn't give it the time of day, but it is there regardless.
  • Mouse, I grew up w. that pic, loving the circus, AND having clowns at my 8th b-day party and I still have a healthy mistrust and dislike for clowns as an adult.

  • Hopefully, you took it to burn it, Tasty?
