Recession survey, WTH?

Um so I took the survery because I had a few minutes and was bored. It doesn't ask anything about the recession. It asks where you live/marital status/age/income then send you on your merry way. How does this have anything to do with the recession?

Re: Recession survey, WTH?

  • I filled it out in the hopes that Annie would reciprocate with an invitation to the Golden Girls shower.Golden Girls Shower almost sounds incredibly dirty.

  • That sounds like a survey to help the knot out of the recession by updating your demographic information for them so they can sell advertising.

  • I took it and it asked me where I lived, if I was planning a wedding, how much it costs, and other questions.  Maybe it's only looking for people in certain areas.  Where do you like kamikaze?

  • Umm can you please translate as to if you meant "What do I like" or "Where do I live"?
  • Typo, I meant what area of the world do you live?

  • Boston area which apparently they did not like since they cut me off.
  • I was kicked out at the same stage.  I have a feeling they are only looking for people who they think might change their expenditures based on the recession, so they eliminate some responders after the income step.
  • That sort of makes sense but doesn't seem very well thought out by TK. You could have a really low income but be living off a trust fund or something. Or you could have a large income but be bogged down with student loans. Too many variables.
  • I agree.  It's the same screwed up logic that they use when they factor credit scores without considering income.
