Since the post below is now about food, I loved The Office last night. I don't want to get too excited after one episode, but I really really hope that they will stick to this format and just keep it in the office. It's so much funnier when all of the characters are together, and Michael is an idiot. Last season was too all over the place. Community seems hopeful as well.

Agree. The bit at the end with Michael talking to Stanley's wife was classic Office.

I did the stereotypical leaky lurker thing when Michael looked at Pam's ultrasound and said, "Awww, look, it's the inside of Pam's vagina."

I missed community.  I'll have to catch that next week. I also enjoyed the office.  It seemed to be going back to classic first season office which I really enjoyed.  Though I think Dwight wasn't being as Dwightish as he could have been for that episode last night. I hope they continue along this path with the show though.

Yes! Thumbs up for the Office last night. The Andy being gay thing killed me. I liked parts of Community, but the episode felt kind of contrived - like someone thought all the characters would be really funny and had more episodes of the show written, but needed some stupid reason to throw them all together, and fake Spanish study session because Joel McHale wanted to screw the hot chick seemed like an okay reason, I guess. Weekend Update/Parks & Recreation - meh. Even though there were penguins.

I thought Parks and Recreation was a much better attempt than anything last season. I liked her singing "parents just don't understand" at the beginning.

OMG, PDX, thank you. I wanted to jump through the tv at the beginning when he was all scruffy. I'm drooling right now just thinking about it. I hope they don't ruin the show getting them together, but I loved it when he called her baby after she got stabbed. It was so sweet.

Is David Boreanaz not hotter than ever this season? Holy moly.Seriously, I rarely swoon over actors, but he's one of the few exceptions.

That episode of The Office made me so ridiculously happy.  I hope they can keep this momentum going
