Nobody else will appreciate this, but it's slow. My brother just bought our tickets for the State - Ole Miss game in November. Zane has never been to one before, so I can't wait to take him. I'm already salivating over the tailgating. My grandparents keep their RV up there, and all of their little old school southern old people friends make the best food.

I love tailgate food so much.  I don't even love football that much, but I love to tailgate!  We're thinking about going up there for the LSU game next weekend but we'd have to drive back late Saturday night, so I doubt we'll make it.  I may try to make it a girls' trip with some other alumni from here.The Egg Bowl is definitely a fun atmosphere.  Zane will love it!  It's in Starkville this year, right?

Yeah, it's in Starkville. I'm sad that it's not actually Thanksgiving day anymore. I grew up going to these with my grandparents. I know he's going to have a blast. Southern doesn't get into football like the SEC teams do, so we don't get that kind of atmosphere down here when we go to the games. It is nice to be able to walk home afterwards though. We're two blocks from the stadium.

I'm sad that it's not actually Thanksgiving day anymore.Yeah, I hate this.  Even on the years we didn't go to the games, we would have so much fun watching the game on television on Thanksgiving Day, especially since my family has fans and alumni from both schools.It would be pretty awesome to live that close to a stadium.  Driving and parking is the thing I hate the most about going to games.  But I know what you mean.  My parents live in the town where Arkansas State is, and the tailgating is so different from what we're used to in the SEC.

It's awesome when we go to the games, but it sucks when the University has something big like a graduations or  a game that we can't go to. Then, we are pretty much stuck at home because all of the roads around our house are bumper to bumper with University traffic.
