AW: my husband is made of awesome

He had today off, and instead of using it to relax and nap and watch football (recorded previously) and assorted other shows and movies- which is how I suggested he spend his day off when he mentioned possibly going up to work to get stuff done- no no no, instead what did he do?  He cleaned the entire apartment, went to the grocery store, and had dinner ready for me when I walked in the door at 8:30 from class, at the end of my 13+ hour day.Awesomesauce!

To my husband, dinner is a bowl of cereal, which he offered to make me last night.So I take your fancy husband and raise him a bowl of honeycrisp.

Color me impressed.  My husband is still proud of himself for making pasta last week.  He has asked me repeatedly if I noticed how expertly he boiled the water and got the pasta done just right.  I think he's angling for a Nobel.

November, I think he was only eligible for the Nobel before he made the pasta, if he had good intentions of doing so and made you feel really hopeful about your dinner.

Mr. Spiderman must have felt competitive with Mr. Shamwow last night.  I got home, mentally making a schedule of what I needed to get done before my friend came over at 7:30, and he told me he would take Maggie for her walk and make dinner.  The pizza he made was extremely delicious.

mmm homemade pizza sounds pretty good right now, what kind did he make, Cali?rajah- I'm in the midst of making a "career change" so I'm working full time and going to classes in the evenings and on Saturdays.  It's really not that bad, I'm just not used to the long hours yet.  And also I'm a huge wimp, so I've been a whiny baby about it.  I'll toughen up soon enough Wing-ed- make it a bowl of multi-grain cheerios or some cookie crisp and then we'll talk

We keep it very basic -- just pepperoni.  But I do have him roll some string cheese into the edges to make it stuffed crust.

My husbands idea of cooking dinner is picking up takeout. Either way, I don't have to cook, so it works.
