Man, I'm always nervous to say my names...OK, for a girl it's either Ivy June, Cora Dayle, or Evelyn Laurel.For a boy all we've managed to come up with is Colin Kent, Peter Collier, or Sean Collier.Both Collier and Kent are family names. Last name starts with D.

Really Fallin? I dunno. I thought my H would be the first one to jump on that and it's his favorite name so far.I might be biased. I once, in passing, asked a guy I knew in college, "What's up?" He replied "My big peter."  That's now all I think when I see the name.

I proposed Sean Kent, but Dan said it sounded too much like Shawn Kemp. Hrumpf.I'm glad my names are met with general approval. I don't hold with Y abuse, but Dayle is near and dear to me. I was sorry to part with it myself. My parents were on the cutting edge of Y abuse.

Have hope all ye girl-wanters. I wanted a girl too and even had to pep talk myself after we found out it was a boy. And now I have the most awesomest funniest sweetest little boy ever, can't imagine life without him.

Evelyn and Cora are my fav girl's names from that list.  Peter is also one H and I have discussed and we both like it. I guess I would prefer a girl (and H definately would) but I know there are pros/cons with either, so it doesn't really matter to me.

The gender I want depends on whether I'm having one kid or two.  If I'm only having one, I'd prefer a girl.  This is only based on the fact that I am a girl and feel like I would be better prepared for having the slightest idea what she's going through as she gets older.  If we were to have two, I'd like a boy.  And then a girl.

Even though we are not having children Mr. Mod has vetoed both Evelyn and Ivy and that makes me sad.

On what grounds, Mod? We have two boy names complete with middle names. Our girl name is still in debate on the middle name. Maybe a boy would be safer.
