Ykes, I was afraid Jen was a goner.  I'm glad it was Laurine (sp?).  I enjoyed Brian's STFU everyone and make food attitude.

That was a nail-biter. I, too, was afraid Jennifer was going home. If she had gone home before Laurine and Robin, I would have cried.I loved the short segment with Michael in interviews saying "I think I can be a leader. I'm respectful of everyone, level-headed, and calm." (paraphrasing) Cut to all of the times he's flipped out on everyone, dropped f-bombs, etc. HI-LARIOUS.I just do not understand why Jen's team took on 2 dishes each. I feel like if you've ever seen Top Chef, you know that you need to do one dish, and do it well, rather than take on two dishes. Less is more.

I could see two dishes maybe, but two dishes on the same course that had to be cooked to order was bsc.  Although, wtf was Mike I. doing the whole time? Asparagus and eggs are not that hard.  I was hoping he'd get dinged for lack of contribution.

I was really afraid Jen would be gone as well.  I was very relieved for it to be Laurine.  Heather, the editing cracked me up too.  Although I was kind of glad he flipped out on Robin because I hate her so.I'm not a big fan of the hour and 15 minute episodes, though.  Ten o'clock is my bedtime!

Same here, Mashed. I was up watching until 11:15 watching, then it took me another 15 minutes to get ready and settled into bed.*YAWN*

Oh whatever, you East Coasters are so fancy.  You're used to prime time tv lasting until 11 already.

If/when I leave Chicago, the central time tv schedule may be the one thing I miss.

I actually don't watch a lot of shows that start at 10, because I hate how late they go. In fact, I think Top Chef might be the only one.

I miss the central time zone.  I can't do 10 pm shows anymore.

I think I said a few weeks ago, but I'm sure if I didn't think Brian was cute he'd probably bug me a lot more than he does.Kevin is still my favorite. It's like every week he pulls out some other thing that makes me love him more. "My restaurant focuses on sustainability." And bacon jelly. I need to go to Atlanta again.

My SILs live in Atlanta and H and I keep saying we have to go to Kevin's restaurant next time we visit. I was worried that Kevin was on the losing team for once. I don't think he has been in the bottom all season and in the top most episodes. Robin has got to go. She is way out of her league.
