We got some new furniture in our living room last week, so now I want to go get new curtains. Then, we will pretty much be finished with all of the painting/fixing for the time being. We may go see Where the Wild Things Are tomorrow.

We're heading out to NY to visit the rents and for my bff's 80's themed halloween/b-day party. I get to re-use my stuff from FL as Cyndi Lauper. And I just convinced her to make Vicki's hooch. I am prepared to be hammered.

A little cleaning, a little playing, a little sleeping.  The usual. I also am going to go shopping for our Halloween party.  I will go overboard and my husband will laugh and roll his eyes at me.

Will's music class, pumpkin patch, UW vs. Oregon, and a Pants extended family dinner tomorrow. Sunday is unplanned as of now. Hopefully we will still be doing the dance of joy after the defeat of Oregon.

My weekend is super exciting.  I'll be caulking, painting trim, and packing up the red room.  Try not to be too jealous.I also need to hurry up and do a quilt square for my friend.  I'm copying the design of the jellyfish from Jane's nursery.  I assume it won't take too long since I plan on doing zero sewing and just using that stitch witchery stuff.

On Saturday I plan on cleaning, relaxing, volunteering at a soup kitchen, and watching the UFC fight. Sunday we will probably go to inlaws after church and watch the Pats games. Painting dressers for the baby's room.  Getting a flu shot.  Getting the oil changed in the car.  Maybe a trip to Bed Bath Beyond, but I don't know if we'll have the time.  Nice little weekend.

The only real plans we have are for dinner with friends tonight.  Otherwise, I'll be spending the weekend cleaning, tv-watching, and sleeping.

We are going to my MILs in Dallas where once again Shamwow and I will be like two ships passing in the night.I have no recipe suggestion at the moment, but I just tried the Pumpkin Smash smoothie at Jamba Juice and it was yummy.

For once, I have no idea what I'm doing tonight. Possibly making my "special friend" I mentioned in Mo's post that time dinner. He doesn't feel like going to 90s and we got pretty hammered last night with his coworkers so we may just each stay in our respective homes.Which is making me unhappy so I'm trying not to let that happen. So I may make the ultimate sacrifice and go see Paranormal Activity with him and probably spend the rest of my life regretting it as I  wind up unable to handle spending any time alone after dark.Saturday, Target. DVR. Woowoo.Sunday, brunch with a friend and helping her fill out the mountains of financial/investment/compliance paperwork for her new job.

We are going to my MILs in Dallas where once again Shamwow and I will be like two ships passing in the night.This made me laugh and pout simultaneously.I'm trying to find someone to go watch Paranormal Activity with me tonight, but all of my friends are lame losers and/or big babies and nobody will go with me.  I momentarily considered going by myself, but then I remembered that J will be gone until very late at a football game which would leave me coming home to an apartment with just the cat and my dog who has a knack for barking at most inopportune moments and therefore is likely to make me pee my pants.Tomorrow I have big plans to sleep in, and then have a ladies' night out at my favorite hole-in-the-wall pub down the street.  I can't wait!

I am working on this high school show choir thing still, but I am hoping that I will get out in time Saturday night to make it to Oktoberfest down in my hometown of Torrance.  Oh, and laundry.

Today I cut off a bunch of hair, and we've been going through 2 weeks of DVR.  I want to grill steak some time this weekend so we can pair it with a bottle of wine we got in CA.

debating a sushi date followed by b-day party tonight. i really would love to do the sushi, but not so much into the party. Then tomorrow night I have a halloween party to go to. i'm a pirate. Sunday I am going to some winery in southern Indiana that my neighbors have been telling me about.
