Apparently I need to revisit the difference between a hedgehog and a porcupine.  Google has shown me that hedgehogs are much cuter!

hedgehogs are like sweet little harmless pocket porcupines that roll up like pillbugs. or real-life popples.

One of my sorority sisters had a pet hedgehog.  They are pretty cool little creatures, although very nocturnal.  We'd come back in the wee hours from the bars, and little dude would be working it out on his hamster wheel.
