More EAB show and tell

Yesterday I went to the Canadian Embassy to see the unveiling of the Olympic Countdown clock (there was a chance I could win tickets to the Olympics--I didn't), so I got these pictures with some of the mascots:

WTF are they supposed to be?  The second one looks like a teddy bear dressed up like a totem pole, and the third one probably eats the souls of children.

The first one is called Miga (I think it might be a bear or something); the second one is Sumi, and it is the official Paraolympics mascot but is to represent the totem pole; and the third is called Quatchi and I think it is short for Sasquatch.  It was the first I had see or heard of them, but for some reason I enjoy having pictures taken with mascots.

The ambassador and the guy from Omega wore roots, I guess it doesn't fit mascots.  I did get som great mittens.

I just cried my own tears holding in my laughter.  I have so much love for Bobsquatch. I find those mascots 88% cute, 12% creppy.  But I definitely would have had to take a picture with them
