Hahaha, the kids definitely make it totally worth it.  In fact, the most recent "Will you bump my kid's grade" email also included a note letting me know how sad said kid was that I won't be her teacher next semester, and if there's anything that can be done to keep her in my class, please make it happen.

PS: Have fun at your gtg.  I thought about driving back to Dallas tonight to join y'all, but then I remembered I'd like to spend a day of vacation not on the road.

I will never understand why, if a church wedding is important to you, you would book other things before booking a church and then act like the church is the one causing problems when they're unavailable on "your" day.

So now that work has slowed down, I have started the daunting task of finding an officiant. FI said he had the Army Chaplain lined up, then said he didn't want him, then said he did but couldn't get in touch with him. I am trying to refrain from being Bridezilla at all, but the boy is making it hard.
