Emjo - they were the shiit. And my craft happy mother did the whole thing after I told her I wasn't doing favors b/c it wasn't in my budget. We did local handmade truffles, which were a big hit. But the even bigger hit were the tissue paper dahlia napkin rings I made. EVERYONE wore theirs, even the dudes. Some more than one.. We didn't do favors.  No one seemed to mind.  In fact, a friend of mine is currently planning her wedding and when we started talking about favors, she didn't even remember that we had none.
