I'm still on vacation.  We were going to get breakfast this morning but H has another migraine Yell so there goes that plan.  I really need to convince him to go see the doctor.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Im hoping it goes by quickly too, my boss is out of town today so I will only have to do my OWN stuff (unless he calls witha  bunch of crap for me to do) which will make today a lot easier. Whenever he is in the office he interupts me regularly with stuff to help him with.

Its possible I have, we watch trailers regularly, but I dont recognize the title. What is it about?

Poor Mr. Betrothed. Are you away on vacation or just taking time off? Hope he feels better soon. Sounds like he should see a doc.

Nebb, I saw the trailer before Inception this past weekend. It's a gritty crime drama/thriller type movie from the director of Gone Baby Gone. Jon Hamm came on the screen and I swooned. Followed by an eyeroll from my FI. It looks really good!

We're at home.  He gets them once a week so I forced him to make an appointment.  He cancelled it claiming it wans't so bad, but he sure as hell biitched about it like it is, and I get in a really pissy mood when I wake up every morning by myself.  I refuse to feel bad for him until he does something about it.

    Hi everybody!

Sorry about your H's migraine, B. That truly sucks.

I'm with Nebb. I wish I was at home on the couch. I still feel a little shitty from my cold and I'm just not in the mood to be around stupid people today.

MIA - How was Inception? I want to see it so bad. I think I'm going to make Matt take me to see it this weekend.

I have the boo Monday feeling today as well. I'm so sleepy.... for once, I would love to wake up early in the morning and not be tired, just one time!

Betrothed, I had migranes for a year, I had them almost everyday and they would be so bad that I'd just have to stay in a dark room, even if I couldn't sleep. I finally went to see a doctor and they put me on an anti depressant (which I thought was weird, but she said it changed the chemicals in my brain, and that would stop my headaches) and it did. I don't take them now, and I don't get any migranes anymore either, she slowly decreased my dosage until I just stopped taking them all together. So tell Mr. Bethrothed it will be good for him to see a doctor, regardless if he thinks it's "not so bad" he will be suprised at how much better he feels when he's not getting a headache everyday! :o)

    Hi girls,

Sorry for all the bleh feelings today :(.  I agree--migraines are the worst.

I hate today because I woke up to horrendous thunderstorms (hail and everything) and FI has to drive through this to work.  I was in a terrible accident a few years ago, so I'm always scared for him in bad weather.  Also, I start my own personal bridal boot camp workout today and it makes me want to crawl in bed and hide.

Cew, I thought it was very good. I loved the cast, but I liked it more than my FI did. I would recommend it.

I'm wishing I was home with my family. My dad posted a bunch of pics on FB over the weekend of him, his girlfriend and her kids, and my little brother all hanging out in the pool and it made me homesick. I hate not having any family here. I get really lonely, especially when DH is in his busy season and works crazy hours.

But oh well, I just have to suck it up. Happy Monday to everyone, and sorry you still aren't feeling well, Cew. Also, Betrothed, definitely have your H go to the doc. I get really bad migraines and the only thing that helped me is Imitrex. It knocks me out every time, but it works like a charm.

Good Morning ladies. Sorry about your H Betrothed, I get migraines occassionally but it's something I've learned how to control. But I agree with everyone else if they are dibilitating he needs a doctor.

Seshat- I feel you on the homesick thing. I live 3 hours away from my family, including my son. So I miss them quite a bit. And trying to get a weekend to do a up and back is a PITA. When I still owned my house I kept our beds there so that we'd have a place to sleep, but now that I've sold it we have to get a hotel. And a pet sitter, it can get expensive.

KD--we're only half that distance from my family (well, from my mom, about 2 hours from my dad) but I still don't get to see them that often because of work and other things. I'm going down in a couple weeks for a doctor's appointment, then on the 7th for my brother's college going-away party. I have a bed at my mom's (my old room has become the storage room), and the cat stays on the porch, so at least we don't have to worry about that.

I hear you on the homesickness Seshat. All I can say is thank goodness for FB. Even though its a bummer not to be there - I'm 10 hours from home-, its the only way I'd be seeing pics of my cousin's baby (he's precious). My family knows I'm on FB every day looking for new pics.

Anyways my Monday is a bit frustrating too. Its pouring here so I don't have to go chop weeds but now I'm waiting on my promised office work. Normally I would love  to be on SB all morning, but I'm wanting to get done with work early so I can meet up with the roomie to look for a  new apartment. I can't believe I'm unhappy that my boss isn't a morning person. Tongue out

As a matter of fact, I had a relatively minor one Friday (minor, as in 1 hydrocodone took care of it) - big pressure drop, nasty storm.

After Friday, I won't see my husband again until the following Saturday evening.

Eh... Monday. At least we got the house to cool down last night. The last couple of nights it's cooled to 55 outside overnight, but the house is still 80 when we wake up. So, a late night run to the store and we now have window fans. Much nicer.

I'm just a touch grumpy because I'm really getting sick of trying to sleep with the cast. No matter what position I try, it puts torque on my knee and the ankle hurts anyhow. Im getting really sick of taking the heavy pain meds every night. So, then I don't and sleep like crap. Hmm... I seem to be less than sunny this morning.

    Good Morning!

We had an interesting night last night, my roommate woke us up about 2 am because she had gone to the bar with one of her friends and her friend was so wasted she couldn't even walk up the stairs and needed help. Luckily, FI was in good spirits, I was worried he would be grumpy because he gets mad when we get woken up by my roommates but he said he didn't mind helping.

I need to run some errands today and I might wander the mall looking for some shorts since I have lost enough weight for my current pair to threaten to fall off my waist.

Hope everyone has a good day!

<div>It goes up to the knee. I've tried pillows and it works, but only as long as I'm on my back. I'm a side sleeper, so I usually end up kicking the pillow off the bed as soon as a roll over. When it gets really bad, I move out to the couch and prop my leg up with pillows. I can usually stay on my back longer that way.
