Have you guys seen this callout site?

It's basically just TKPS without rules and the posts are directed at specific posters. It just makes me feel kinda dirty. Do we really NEED to call people out? Can't we just call it like we see it when we see it? The anonymity seems rather cowardly. What do you guys think?

I didn't hear of that one, but there was mention of one for the bump. Those people are vicious.

I actually really liked KPS when it first came out because I've always like Post Secret and in the beginning, it really was similar. Most of the secrets were REALLY interesting and dealt more with the poster's personal life than board stuff.

This is just not necessary. I think it is pretty clear who has hurt who, who hates who, who cares and who doesn't. If you need this site to really say how you feel, you should really just either be keeping your mouth shut or man up and say it.

I am not surprised though. The gluttony for drama wasn't being fed enough.

I think KPS is kind of fun. This, however, is mean. I don't like anything done is such a mean spirit.

It's really pathetic, and definitely unnecessary.  I'm hoping no one submits anything so it dies quickly and isn't brought up again.  I have no doubt all the submissions currently posted were created by whatever pussy started the blog to begin with.  Did you notice the person who did it also created an AE to debut it?  Even they know it's sad an pathetic.

It just reeks of idiocy. 

Do these callout sites even last that long?  It seems that the one callout bump or nest site that was up for a while eventually was shut down.

"Calling out" or slamming people on the boards anonymously is just so pointless - isn't half the fun around here actually discussing things and hearing all different opinions, even if we disagree?  I mean I can't even think of anyone on here I'd hate enough to want to call them out on some random internet site.  If I did have any real beef with someone I'd either page them or PM them.

I am pretty sure Callout is going to get pretty hateful so we should all just be prepared to be insulted, which sucks.

That's what is really immature and lame about it, it's personal attacks only. There aren't any constructive criticisms or real issues, just personal attacks. I don't think that helps anyone, including the poster who created it.

I also think call-outs totally miss the point of post secret and trivialize the very real and personal confessions that people make there.

It makes me sad how KPS went, especially because Arbolita is so awesome and because I posted an actual "innermost confession" secret when it first came out and now it just feels like the site is such a joke.

I agree completely. KPS might not be my style, but there is no doubt it has helped a lot of people, both posters and those who read subsequent discussions.

Well, I said this on E, but my guess is that the person (people?) who started this site is probably the same ones who go around bitching about people being bullies and mean and nasty for no reason. So now they can be nasty and mean and bullies without having to sack up and call people out on their own.

Exactly, Katie. It turned into a site for board drama "secrets."

I guess I was just curious how people felt about this. I think we have a pretty open atmosphere for people to express how they feel without getting all Mean Girls about it. As I expected, everyone thinks it's unnecessary. Looks like an E-hater just needs to be heard and there's not actually a demand for call outs.

My vote is to ignore (except I really like Celles' idea, too!).  The nastiness and cruelty needs to just stop and ignoring it is the only way that's going to happen.  Whoever does thisshit loves to get a rise out of us.
