Walton Stout Band... prices doubled??

I poseted a while back about finding a good budget band to play at the reception, and some of the feedback I got said the Walton Stout Band was around $3k.... I asked them for a quote, they told me $6K but they would give me a discount down to $5K! I asked them if they had done weddings last year for around $3K and they said yes... apparently the market for bands has gone up that much?? has anyone else gotten a quote from them recently, or is this $5K negotiable?

    I heard them do a wedding and they were really good.
    Sometimes I thought it was a DJ with professional recordings
    (as sometimes live bands are questionable at times.)
    If you use them, you will definitely be pleased

    To give an update... I went and saw Walton Stout with my fiance and parents and we all fell in love!

    I asked about the price increase, and it's mainly because they added a lot of band members since then, which is understandable. We booked them as soon as we could! They have been AWESOME to work with so far, totally worth the price!!
