Photo Sharing Website cards

For those who are creating a photo sharing website and providing business cards at the reception (possibly in addition to including one with your thank you cards), are you placing the business cards ONLY at the entrance table/area that contains your escort cards, guestbook, and card box?I read on another board that some brides put cards at each table, and specifically one bride put a card at each place setting. Would this be tacky?

I'm wondering if guests will overlook the cards placed near the guestbook/escort cards, and since I can't promise I'll get my thank you cards mailed out within a couple weeks after the wedding, I'm thinking facebook might be utilized far more than the photo sharing website for photos taken by guests.  I know I can't force my guests to use the website, but it would be nice if there was a decent amount of photos posted for my family members who do not use facebook or who are unable to attend the wedding.

I will be asking my venue to put them with the favors at each spot as well as some at the guest book/card box area.  I will probably put them in my thank you cards but they won't get sent out right away as we are leaving for a 2 week honeymoon on Monday after our Saturday wedding.

I think I'm going to put them at the guestbook table only. We ordered 250 from VP and if I put them on the guestbook table, at every place, and then mailing them with the TY cards, I don't think I'd have enough.

I decided to just have them by the card table. I actually JUST made a little sign for it today b/c I took the day off (it's my birthday today!) so you and I were both thinking about this today. The sign will slide in a little business card holder I got at a stationary store.

I think we are just going to have ours placed at the guest's tables at the reception. They might miss them elsewhere, and I really do want people to use the website (even if it's just a few people, that's better than nothing!) We got our business cards for free on vistaprint (but paid like $2 or whatever it is to have a blank bank side of the card). They actually came out really nice!

I don't think we are going to do the thank you card thing, by the time we get thank yous out, people probably won't really be in the "uploading photos" state of mind.

we're setting them at each table...and then we'll be sending them out again in the thank you cards. just in case people forget...if anything I'll just have to download them from FB if there are any pics posted there.
