Good morninng! I am on the way to work with H. I am driving his car home so that my mom and I can pick him up at 5:00 from work, then my mom will drop H and I off at the airport. We are flying down to FL tonight to visit H's parents. Fun fun. How are you lovely ladies doing today?

We're going tonight to see WICKED and I'm super excited.  Emma's feeling better today after spending yesterday at the vet's office, and our weekend plans are starting to shape up.  Good day so far.

I'm excited because we're doing our tasting tonight! Food was pretty much the main focus of the wedding and this restaurant is supposed to be amazing. I'm probably off tomorrow too which will be nice.

Thanks! We will be back Tuesday night. Going to fort lauderdale area. I will be busy the next week! Get back from FL Tueaday night, then meeting with the director about my new job on Wed morning and hopefully getting an official start date finally!! Then Thursday I leave for central IL to see my Grandparents. Back Saturday at 5:00 or so, then we have dinner plans with friends at 6:30 Saturday night. Crazy! Gotta drive home now!

Have a fun trip!

I'm annoyed because I've been looking for sale swimsuits for the cruise in September and I finally went on to VS and they have an AMAZING sale going on for bandeaux tops BUT for my size nothing matches or coordinates at all.  It is pissing me off.  Maybe I just buy a few of the tops and pray that there are some decent bottoms and a local store?  I hate shopping for clothing let alone bathingsuits/underwear.

lbarr I was too late to comment on the night thread but I hear ya on the feeling like you might not look like yourself if you go overboard with beautification stuff. That's the main reason I am doing my own makeup, I don't trust someone else to let me be me. 

FH is starting to side eye all the makeup in the bathroom and he gave me quite a look when I bought false eyelashes last weekend.

Celtic, I am afraid I'm going to stress out so much on the day of I just decided to go with someone.  I'm fairly good at doing my own makeup when I actually try but it takes me awhile and I can't count on it that day.  The artist I'm using is really good so I'm hoping I'll look as "me" as possible.  I told FI I was doing lashes and he gave me an odd look.  Whenever he thinks of the fake lashes I think he envisions the enormous fan like ones.  I wont tell him otherwise

Morning!  It's looking like it's going to be a beautiful day out, and I have a date tonight after work to go see the Avengers (FINALLY), so I'm looking forward to that.  I'm starting to feel back to normal after the finals rush, so I'm hoping to catch up on a lot of work today.  We'll see how that goes.

Morning. My mouth still hurts. I'm hoping it's just leftover soreness from yesterday and not a sign that I need a root canal.

Not much happening today. I'm hungry but I don't want to eat. I have to pack up all my stuff tonight because I'm going to my mom's tomorrow (book event down her way on Saturday). H just called and said he's going to get a smartphone today since his phone finally died. This should be...interesting. The man can barely operate older cell phones and got frustrated with the touch screen of his last one. But at least he can stop stealing mine to play Angry Birds.

Morning! Not much going on here, just the usual work and gym. I have 30 days left here (21 workdays) left here and I can feel short-timers starting to settle in. I need to go to our medical clinic and schedule my annual exam and see if they'll take a look at my right thigh bone that's been hurting me.

H & I were watching Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations on Travel Channel last night, and the episode was of him in London and Edinburgh. He ate all of this amazing seafood at a restaurant called Kitchin (traditional Scottish fare cooked via French methods) and it all looked so damn good. I think it's time we eat some seafood!

False lashes are so fun! H mostly ignored my makeup habit until he found out how many eyeliners I have. Then he started questioning why I needed so much stuff.

Same here! My H makes fun of me for my silver-fox attraction. I dunno why. Especially for Tony Bourdain because he's a foul-mouthed drinker, too. I've got a thing for Jack Nicholson as well, and I often wonder if it's due to the fact that he's nucking futs.

Its gonna be a busy day at work for me so I probably won't be around. I had a funny thought about our AE's though, if we make up random emails we don't actually have, imagine someone really does have it and they get an email saying "your twattymcdiicksnatch account has been created" lol. I'd die laughing if I got that random email.

Hmm now I'm worried about IT here.  I'm waiting for the day when they block this site because I'm always on it.  FTR,  I do my work and get my experiments done faster than most and have downtime in between a lot of it so it's not like I'm a lazy POS at work... I do things besides the internetz.

ETA: Nebb, that thought never really occurred to me but that is hilarious.  Also, I might have gone way overboard and just created a new gmail account instead of typing in something random (stupid party of one over here).

Good morning.  Last day of work before VACATION!!!!  Still have to finalize packing.  But, I've got most of it done and a list of what I still need to grab.

Had a great GTG with DJ yesterday.  We had a blast! I did have to threaten to hold her luggage hostage a few times though.

I think I'm going to use this vacation time to unplug a little.  I'm going to try to steer clear of fb, tk (so GBWK for 10 days) and email.  My plan is to just use the phone for phone calls and navigation purposes.  I'm sure I'll piddle around a lot today online but I won't be around for AE Friday (damn- sounded fun).

Me too! The best part is just my new SN was taken. Out of curiosity, I actually checked how many numbers I would have to go up to use an email. There are 40 other people who think my ridiculous SN would make a good email address.

Sesh - We're headed to Key Largo for a week and then Key West for 2 days.  We'll fly into Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow morning (leaving Denver at 6am---shudder---) then we'll rent a car and drive down to Key Largo.  Woot!

My next appt is 6/11 but we don't get our anatomy scan done until 6/25. My Dr. is one of those bastards that does everything on the later side of things rather than the earlier side :( My BIL (the ones with twins) are due on the same day as us, and they will find out the sex next week.
