NWR: What should I wear? Poll

Hey ladies, as mentioned in an earlier post this morning, I'm going to my 10 year high school reunion on Friday. I'm half dreading it, half looking forward to it. But I'm torn between two dresses.

This one:

And this one, but in red:

I like both dresses for different reasons and they both look good on me.

Dress #1 is bit more revealing because I have a larger chest (34D). H likes this dress for good reason, but I often feel like my boobs are on display when I wear dresses like this. H says I'm just too modest.

Dress #2 is a safer choice, but has some flare because it's red. It fits me well and doesn't make me think about my body as much. But I think H is leaning towards the other dress.

[QUOTE]I'm not a huge fan of the color and pattern in number one. It might be one of those that looks better on a person, but since I can't see it on, I vote 2. Two is sexy, but classy, and you have to have a nice figure to pull off something slinky, so I think it is a nice way to look good without overdoing it.

I have to agree and I dont even have a big chest and my husband would be the same way about the cleavage, men!

I do think #2 looks really classy.

  • I agree with PP, #2 is gorgeous!!

  • And I totally understand about dress 1, I bust out of anything with that criss cross neckline!

  • I personally like dress number 2 better, but you also sound more comfortable in it.  Worrying about busting (pun intended) out of your dress is a downer, and you want to have fun!  Do you already own both dresses?  If you do, maybe you can wear dress 1 to Thanksgiving or out to dinner with your H.

Good Luck and have a great time!
  • Definitely the second one. Red is a saucy color. You will have the best time! I just went to my 10 year, and I was having mixed feelings, but it ended up being super fun.

<div>Yes, I own both dresses. I bought the red one first but kept thinking about the other one all the next day. It was on sale, so I went back to buy it, knowing that I could return if I decided not to wear it for the reunion. But I think I will keep it for going out to dinner and such.</div><div>
</div><div>Thanks for the responses everyone! I've also been leaning towards dress #2 as well. This confirms my choice :) </div><div>

Save the first one for New Years! ::wink,wink:

  • Yeah I'm not a fan of the pattern of the first one.
  • I love the second dress! Hope you have fun at your reunion, my ten year reunion was a few weeks ago but I ditched it! It was pretty expensive and was essentially a wedding reception!
  • Wow, I'm the lone vote for dress one.  lol.  I actually don't care for the second dress, but I guess to each their own.
  • I liked two immediately except for the dull color. When I read RED and how you seemed to prefer two, well, go for two.
  • Checking back in to let you know I wore the red dress and received many compliments! Thanks for all the votes everyone!
