Ugh my big pet peeve is when breeders insist on removing the dew claws on puppies.  I've watched it be done....its done without any pain meds and it hurts day old puppies.  No thanks.  As a breeder I don't do that and it hurts my tummy that some do.

ETA:  I fostered an Aussie, great dogs.  She didn't have much of a tail though, I figured it was genetic.

Don't they just have something called "Bark-off" now? It sends electrical pulses or something (I honestly don't know how it works--I iz teh dumbz). I've been wanting to get it to shut up our neighbor's old ass Chihuahua that yips every morning at 5 AM (even on weekends!!)

ohio is fighting puppy mills and working to pass nitro's law - hopefully they both pass, a step in the right direction (Nitro's law in a nutshell is to make it a felony for someone to knowingly negect an animal - Nitro and others were starved to death in a training kennel...)

next up pushing for laws banning BSL!
