[QUOTE]In Response to Re: What are you reading right now? : Nebb, have you read the ones she wrote under a pseudonym (that now escapes me). They are erotic novels named Beauty Captured, Beauty's Punishment, and Beauty's Release, aka the Sleeping Beauty Trilogy. Now I see them listed under Anne Rice on Amazon, but they originally came out under a pseudonym. They are pretty darn raw, for lack of a better word. And there are no vampires. When I was in college,  my mom found me reading one at home and threw it out.

  • I should read the sleeping beauty trilogy.  Although, they may pale in comparison to some of the free kindle smut I downloaded and was then shocked by.

No I never read them. To be quite honest I think her normal books totally over sexualized me as a kid - I started reading her books when I was 11.

</div><div>Maybe I remember them to be more scandalous than they are, but to my early college mind, they were just hard core porn in the written form. </div><div>

In my bookstore days, I checked out the "Sleeping Beauty" trilogy ... and yeah, they were pretty dirty if I remember correctly (Although, I wasn't expecting smut when somebody recommended them to me, so I may have just been super caught off-gaurd by it)

  • Right now I'm reading this post. In actuality, you mean books, I'm reading The Bourne Deception, 7th book in the series.  Three of them were made into movies so far :)

[QUOTE]In Response to Re: What are you reading right now? : holy craps, they were amazing. I couldn't put them down once I started them---they really were that good. I have never re-read a book (is that weird?) so, I can't speak to whether you'd reread them or not, but they are for sure my favorites right now!!  You can buy them from me off of ebay if you want!! I paid $111 for all 8; I think the price they are going for right now is $45....

I started a reply when you first posted this but the boss came in. Anyways...you paid a lot! I too forget how expensive books are (love my library card). I'm debating buying the first one because I've had it on hold at the library for weeks and they finally called me when I was in NC but by the time I got back it was gone again and now i''m number 28 in line!
