I need curtain help, bad.

We need curtains for the living room. I love all the light but it makes it impossible to see the tv at times and because the windows are southwest facing it gets quite warm and it's not even summer yet. Plus, it looks super drab in here and I know curtain will help. My problems are; they need to be 108 in. as the ceilings are tall and I insist on them touching the floor. I'd like for them to be grey, yellow, or turqouise. The walls are a pinky beige and I don't want something blending too much and I'd like to add contrast. I really love and am considering getting these curtains but they're semi sheer. Would adding a blackoutline behind them look super weird?

CN: Would a blackout liner look weird behind these semi sheer curtains?

I love the curtains that are your favorites.  I do not think a black liner would look bad, can you go with a grey liner instead to play off the curtains, and the pink walls.

I don't know if you'll see this Rox, but we actually have kids curtains from Target in our room. They're the 'light blocking' ones and they were super cheap. They don't look cheesy though either

I thought ikea just had 98! I wouldn't do a black liner behind them, just a white blackout liner.
