My long lost sister found me!

It has been such an emotional weekend! On Friday right before my softball game, my sister (who disappeared from my life over 5yrs ago) found me on facebook. It was so crazy I didn't know how to feel after I discovered that I have a new BIL and a new nephew. I couldn't help but cry. I am so happy but I have no clue  how to start a relationship with her because she was only in my life for maybe a year or two that I can remember. I am so happy she found me, I guess facebook can be good!

Anything good happen this weekend?
What is everyone going to eat for breakfast?
Long or short day at work today?

That's exciting, Jelique.  I hope it turns out well for both of you - maybe you can begin to have a relationship with your sister.

We spent this weekend enjoying the lingering warm weather and went on 2 long hikes with friends, and had a bbq for one of the friend's birthdays.  It was fun, but I'm not really functioning well yet this Monday morning.  I think I need to get myself in gear.

That's exciting. I got to hang out with my brother this weekend, which was nice. Other than that, nothing exciting for me.

Lunch is PB and honey sandwich and snacks. I'm not sure what's in my lunchbox, as H insisted on making lunches last night since I was cooking dinner. He's never made my lunch before, so this should be interesting to see what he picked out for me.

Thanks. I hope we can start to work on getting to know each other. She lives in Japan (H is in the Navy) so a face to face visit is out of the question. We are supposed to talk on the phone later this week and I am so nervous! When she was in my life we were semi-close but it has been years.

Les- I wish I had warm weather! At my house we have a horrible marine layer which makes it so foggy you can barley see when you try to drive. Ugh.

I'm just at work, slaving away, but I really want to be planning our honeymoon. We decided on 10 days in Kauai. FI was supposed to plan it, but his budget was bigger than I wanted it to be, so I researched some options while he was away this weekend. I think we'll have fun and not come home totally broke now. Hopefully we can book something tonight. 

Lunch was a can of Amy's Chunky Vegetable Soup and a whole grain roll. I think I'll venture down to our Admin's office for a few M&Ms in a minute.

that's pretty cool. i'm the type that gets nervous about things like that, but you seem excited and happy to talk to her so i'm sure it will go great.

i had a great weekend. i went to a great derby game & skated to the beach with my girls in the lovely weather.

my mother in law cooked us breakfast. it tasted like a breakfast jack.

today is a 6hr day at work. pretty normal for me.

Sorry about your dog!  My puppy is really skiddish and anything and everything scares him. Scares him so bad he sharts himself!
