Morning. I'm sitting here waiting for my work program to unfreeze. I can't even close it because everything on that screen (I have dual monitors) is frozen, even the task manager. For a company that relies on computers and the Internet, we have the crappiest systems ever.

Today I have to go way out to Whisky's cancer doc to get his meds. It's so out of the way. I wish they did delivery, but I can't put it off any longer since he only has 1 pill left.

I have leftover lasagna for lunch. I'm very excited about this.

Morning ladies. H and I may have celebrated the King's Stanley Cup win a little too much last night. I'm not hungover (no headache or anything), I'm just a little groggy and super thirsty today.

Sesh - your leftover lasagna sounds delish. I think I'll make that soon. It's been a while since I made it and I'm sick of spaghetti.

Good morning!

I'm feeling festive today so I'll be breaking into part of my secret coffee hoard.  I've got a few mini bags of holiday flavors and I think a little gingerbread coffee might be just what the doctor ordered to get my butt moving this morning.

Weird-ass dreams all night.  No explanation for them and they're pretty analysis proof.  It was like brain vomit of various images. I DID get to go into outer space on a shuttle mission though.  Even though the module caught fire, it was pretty awesome.

I've got more papers to write today.  Could someone remind me next time to no try to take a 3 credit writing course in a condensed, 6 week summer timeslot.  Bad idea.  WAY too much work.

Anna, I had weird dreams last night too. The one I can remember involved Tony Stark, his new Stark Tower (from Avengers) and being barricaded in because of zombies. WTH. Not that I'm complaining about being barricaded anywhere with Tony Stark.

I wish I liked coffee. It would really help in the mornings since Coke no longer seems to have any effect.

Mehg, I think lasagna tastes better the next day. I don't kinow why, but it just does. I hadn't made it in awhile either since it takes forever, but I'm glad I did. So delicious.

So the "casual" wedding I went to this weekend, they only had seating for thirty people at the outdoor ceremony. It was 97 degrees outside and we were all drinking old Milwaukee beer during the wedding. My sil brought her own bottle of wine and hid it under the table during the reception. The reception was also very crowded probably because of all the guests that came and were not officially invited. Good times!

I'm going to a beach wedding on Saturday. I've been wondering if there would be chairs (doubt it) and how long the ceremony will be.

The reception is at my grandparents' house and I'm betting it will be a madhouse. It was pretty much a 'come one, come all' type of thing, from what I understand.

Brandi - no, I don't like hot tea. I like iced/sweet tea but hot tea is gag-worthy. H made me drink it last time I was sick and I'm pretty sure he was trying to kill me with it.

Good morning! I'm up way earlier than normal because H made a lot of noise when he left. This wouldn't normally bother me (being awake early) but I had to close last night, so it was a late night for me.

Work for me today, but I'm off tomorrow! Yay! A day off that isn't packed with dentist or doctor appointments. I'm going to veg and do laundry. It will be so nice!

I wish I liked coffee, too. I LOVE the smell, but don't like the taste. One of my coworkers makes hazelnut coffee, and it smells delicious.

Morning ladies!

I'm exhausted! The pup woke me up at 4:45 then again at 5:30, then I had to get up early to walk the yard with the landscaper to tell him what we want done. Hoping that will be done early next week.

Tonight if it doesnt rain I'll most likely take the pup to the park again. Since I cant do yoga while H is gone, we meet at the park with dogs.

Uuuugh ultra gay!! Remember mentioning the morning meetings we've been doing at work. There's always an activity and todays was to laugh for 30 seconds. I can't just laugh on command for an audience and the guy leading it kept telling me to really laugh during it. Like I'm effing trying so eff off. Gayest activity ever. I don't feel energized, I feel annoyed. I didn't feel annoyed before that. Fack I'm so over this place.

I thought of you this weekend when I was ordering some perfume from Demeter. Not sure if you've heard of Demeter before, but they have all of these really cool scents, and the Christmas ones sounded so good. I was so tempted to buy some with the rest of the scents I was getting, but I held off and just stuck to the summer smells for now, to see if I like their stuff.

Nebb - laughing on command is supposed to be energizing??  HellNo.  That just sounds stupid.  I would be annoyed too.

We have a meeting with our new company president today, who is flying in to grace us with his presence.  Whatever.  I don't care that you're one of the top 50 richest people in America.  We have work to do and I don't need a rah-rah session.

But, we're going to a baseball game tonight, so that will be fun.

All the staff has to run one of these meetings. Last week one person had us write our names on a scrap of paper and individually it was just a scrap of pizzle but when you put them together omg it says the name of the company on the paper cause were a TEAM!!! See? The worst. Its so freaking lame.

All this coffee talk is killing me. I hadn't even realized it, but I probably haven't had a cup of coffee on a weekday in like 2 weeks. Ugh I miss it. I've been drinking tea but it's not the same
