Bridal superstition

This is kind of a random question...

My bridal portraits are on Saturday.  Since we all know that superstition warrants that it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding on their wedding day, is the same true for the day of bridal portraits?

Should I not let my fiance see me before/after the portraits with hair/makeup done?  This seems silly, does it matter?  Then again, I'll look (sans dress/veil) very similarly to the way I will look on our wedding day.

Yup, I just had to ask.  I'm weird like that.

Thanks!

Superstition is that it is bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the wedding on the wedding day.  That has somehow evolved to the groom not seeing the bride in her dress before the wedding day, to not even seeing the dress itself.  I don't think there's any harm in seeing you made up.  Although when I did my hair and makeup trial, I took my hair down and my makeup off before I saw my fiance.  I wanted him to be totally suprised!

    Basically, it's up to you.

Ditto PPs.  My FI went dress shopping with me - so we are obviously not very superstitious.  Ha.

Ehh... I don't think I would want him to see the hair and makeup together at the same time.  Not really superstitious... just don't want him to see the whole "look" all put together.
