Totally agree Roxy. I discovered highlights, low cut jeans and belly shirts (granted I had the body for it then). I was such a rebel.

I wish I'd discovered eyeliner and padded bras sooner.. unfortunately, I didn't until the end of senior year. However, starting in 10th grade I learned how to dress better and do my hair so that helped.

I wish I hadn't been so self conscious in HS. There were lots of things I bought that I loved but I don't think I ever wore because I didn't want to be laughed at.

I also needed to have gotten rid of the leggings way before 8th grade. I had an allergy to laundry detergent and something about jeans would hold the soap in the seams and I would break out down the outsides and insides of my legs. Leggings were the only things I wore until almost the end of 8th grade.

I went to a middle school in a town that started with a P so our school abbreviation was PMS. I showed up at the 8th grade halloween dance in a formal gown, tiara and a sash that said "Ms. PMS", no fucking joke. Thanks mom for letting me do that
