Just saying hello. I am thinking plenty of people on the board do not remember me - I have been married for two years and have not posted regularly in forever. I like checking back in here, though. Threads like "Wow Wedding" bring a sentimental tear to my eye as I see so many of you tear the OP a new one I see Blue, Shesh, Nates, AATB and other familar faces still around with great sig pics. Nice. 

We just had our second anniversary April 12th and I am writting a peice on things I learned in having a DW for another website. It has been making me think of SB and how much I enjoyed people here. I posted a few comments last week, too.

ETA - and happy anniversary! We celebrated 2 years on April 10th. I didn't know we were so close in date.

I wish we had done more pictures. We went with less and really you only have that oen wedding day, I say get tons of pictures and budget what you can for them.

Hi Nates! Thanks. So, are you tired of all the "newlywed" comments yet and people asking you when you are going to start a family? Or maybe you do not get that? At our incredibly old ages, I actually had several people ask me if we planned to adopt or even actually HAVE a kid (?!). Considering I was about 11 weeks she of 45 when we married I thought it was odd.

It's not too bad, Lenore. People have been pretty laidback, thankfully. I can't believe how tactless people can be, though. This weekend was fun because my husband's family is huge and they were telling.us different stories from our wedding that we hadn't heard. That's the newlywed experience I love so far.

I liked that too Nates. People told me a lot of stuff about that evening later on that I did not know. My favorite things that I heard was that while I was freaking out the day of the wedding about a possible impending storm, the guests were already quietly coming up up with suggestions for a seating arrangment to have the ceremony in our suite. I thought that was SO sweet. I was sso relieved we got to have it outside at Red Rock as we planned. Funny we left MN to go to NV in April to run into bad weather and the coldest temps for that date in decades!
