Delaney Vineyards

Has anyone gotten married here or been to a wedding here? What is your opinion of 4 caterers they have:Guess whos coming to dinner, City kitchen, Creative Cuisine, CN Catering.  Good or bad experiences with these? Which is the most affordable for buffet style dinner?

Also, anyone know a church near Delaney that they recommend for the ceremony? Is it affordable?
Thanks for your help!!!

A Knottie got married there in 2009 when I was planning my wedding.  Here is her review:

    Reception Venue                   Delaney Vineyards A-

Delaney Vineyards was the perfect backdrop for our wedding recpetion! The place is gorgeous and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for...romantic and fun! We were extremely happy with our decision to use Delaney! The staff seemed a little scatterbrained at times, and not really willing to help out too much. They did really come through in the end, helping us with some minor details such as lighting our votive candles and placing pictures out. Be sure that you make lists of exactly what you need done. Also the vineyard gets to be a little pricey as you have to pay for all additional table and chair rentals. You are required to purchase their wine which was good, but not too great! Overall happy with our decision! We recieved soooo many compliments on the location of our reception!

She used a different catering co. not mentioned on your list and gave them a C- (maybe that's why they aren't used anymore).  I found 2 former Knottie reviews for CN--a B and a B-, 2 reviews for Creative Cuisine, both were A+.  One for Guess Who's and it was an A+.

She got married at Fielder Road Baptist Church but stated that they only marry members.
  • What kind of church are you looking for?  There is the website rentmychurch.org where you can find churches that don't have membership requirements.

  • My mom's old company used to use City Kitchen for catering a lot and she said that they were great. We saw them at a bridal show and considered them, but they ended up being a little more than what I was wanting to pay per person.

  • The Delaney Vineyards was one of our top 2 locations for our Venue but after researching catering (seemed more than we wanted to spend) and all the extras charged to you it just wasnt for us.  Just beware of the charges.  The lighting is what added up for us, there seemed to be a charge for every single light we wanted to use.
