They already have. They came inside and turned on my long-dead dancing Frosty the Snowman Christmas decoration last December in the middle of the night. Sir Whisky is often seen/heard staring and howling at empty air.

So, we either have aliens or ghosts. I don't know which is worse.

Ghost. I think an alien would have tried some freakier shiiit by now. Although, the Frosty thing was pretty freaky.

Sometimes I wonder if the ghost followed me from my mom's. Same weird stuff happens like when I was a kid. Like one time, I came home from school (last one to leave in the morning, first one home in the afternoon) and everything on the top of my bookshelf was laid out on the floor just as it was on the shelf. That's happened here before and H swears he didn't do it.

Seriously. Regular lock and dead bolt go on immediately when I get home. When I was in college I had a break-in/robbery when I lived in a house with a ton of people over a holiday weekend. After that I slept with a bat next to my bed. It was kinda of a shady town.

Blue I used to play online poker all the time time. I'd like to get back into it sometime but that probably won't happen until I get less busy. I was pretty kickass in high school.

Duds congrats on the car! That's awesome..I'm jealous. I need a new car pretty bad.

I always keep the doors locked - and deadbolted.  H thinks I'm paranoid, I think I'm being smart for a woman living mostly alone.  My 90 lb dog wouldn't hurt a fly (although anyone breaking into my house wouldn't know that... probably).

I'm lurking as per my norm, and sometimes commenting.  I'm supposed to be doing work for my last class of the semester, but I really hate the prof and it's hard to force myself to do work that I don't care about.  

FI and I were supposed to have a meeting with our Rabbi tomorrow morning, but he cancelled due to a funeral, so I suddenly have a free morning.  We basically figured out how we want a portion of the ceremony to go in preparation for the meeting, so at least that's one less thing to worry about.  

Someone really needs to smack me and tell me to stop having baby fever while living in my FILs' basement.  This is not a place for a kid and I don't want to be 7 months pregnant at my wedding.

I took Autumn (the dog) to a doggy get together by the local breed club (for the breed she is) and there were about 25 dogs there (and maybe 35 humans).  Mind you Autumn at 90 lbs is on the smaller end for a female in this breed.  It was fun and she is exhausted.  Mission accomplished.  There was an 8.5 week old puppy there.  So cute and soft and puppies smell like popcorn.  I have puppy fever - kind of.

Loopy- I have puppy fever too.  A friend of mine asked me if I could take a 10 week old pit.  It broke my heart not to be able to, but with a baby coming it wouldnt be fair.  But I told her if her friend couldnt find someone reliable to take her, that I would take her.

You'd have most of the training done before you got REALLY pregnant Blue.  I know other people who've gotten puppies even closer to their due dates and been fine.

Its not just that, its Gia too.

Also, pits around a year to 2 years start to really mouth things.  Its like a fake bite.  Its hard to break and that would be when I would have a crawler.
