Our bridal shower is this Saturday and I am trying so hard not to registry stalk!

I didn't kill Jay about the GPS and had a very nice birthday because of him.

We should be wrapping up the lease signing on our duplex this weekend--I'll attach pictures! I'm already decorating in my head.

We are officially going to Florida on vacation in June!  Can't wait already.  Now I have some motivation to eat better.  I have walked 2 miles twice this week, gone to the gym twice and am walking 4 miles today at lunch.  Go me.

My bachelorette party is on Saturday and I'm only 2 days away from it being my wedding month.  Woohoo.

Got all the stamps on my RSVP envelopes last night, FI helped stamp the invites, lots of DIY checks (pillar candle holders, drink menu, direction cards, cake stand), having a trial run on my makeup tonight (thanks Bananna!) and time and location set for my bridals next Thursday....I think that's all!

NWR: my FI surprised me by fixing up our front lawn (see before and after pics!)

Marissa - the duplex looks great! Our new house has dark hardwoods like that also....I love, love, love them!! Have fun decorating - I'm still in the process but it is coming together!!!!

Marissa, your place looks really nice.  We have floors like that too, and I love them.  Although I will admit I covered some of them with a rug because the echo in the room was horrible. 

Linz, we're in the process of doing that to our yard as well, and I'm really excited too.  I think it really adds a lot to a house's overall look.

Yesterday we had some big checks! We bought FI his suit for the wedding (love it!). Also, instead of hiring a videographer we're buying a camcorder and letting FI's brother video for us. Yesterday I got a great deal on an HD camcorder on woot.com! I also stamped all of our save the dates, those will be going out tomorrow!

Anna - I love woot!  Especially their t-shirts - when I can find one that's cute and not too geeky.  (Although sometimes, I just have to embrace that I'm a nerd.)

Yesterday I went shopping and bought shorts and beachwear for our trip to the Outer Banks in June.  I'm ridiculously excited.  Before that, I have to go to DC for work, so Jordan's coming with me and he snagged us a hard-to-get reservation to celebrate our anniversary.  I can't wait for the next 3 weeks to fly by!

I managed to give the TAKS test to the freshmen today without any cell phones going off or meltdowns (by me or the kids).  Thank goodness for tomorrow because I only have one class and no testing!!!!
