I always wonder what people 2000 years from now will think about our culture/species. So much of history is based off of writings and media, but the majority of literature/media is fake or fantasy. Will they be learning in history class that vampires were real and that we had a race of mutants that tried to take over America?

My random thought was that as someone who just wore regular underwear with my dress, and had no problems using the bathroom,how do you girls that wear spanx go potty?

And Katie Im not sure we are going to be here in 2000 years.IMO

Im totally serious. The pee hole exists. I would take a picture of the pee hole on my spanx but that would be incredibly creepy. Its pretty damn awesome though.

I too am intrigued by the spanx pee hole.  Really?  My random thought is that vodka is good.  There are things that I am willing to give up in the name of health/well being, but vodka is not one of them.  That is all.

Oh, so get this. Bil was severly mocking Scott the other day for enjoying Glee and watching it with me (Scott was in show choir in high school and I was a drama nerd) because it isn't a manly show. Bil watches True Blood and Twilight religiously.

I love Stephen King, but  I have never gotten into to the Dark Tower series.

Although I am watching The Lord of the Rings The Two Towers does that count?

As much as I hate glee, I totally dig the sister act movies and still know all of the words to all of the songs. I dont think thats much different from liking glee so I just keep my opinion to myself.

I dont think I've even tried them, although I had a friend that loved them. I may have to give it a try, after I finish what I'm reading now.

I used to love Dean Koontz, in fact I have quite a collection, but he's not as good as he used to be.

Seriously, the dark tower is just mind blowing. Its just epic. When I finished it I just laid there for a good 5 minutes trying to take in what had just happened. Its just so epic.

My expectations are pretty high too, I do think that it will be better  executed this way (with hours and hours devoted to many of the books) as opposed to just being made into movies and having to condense so much into a few hours at a time.

I honestly avoided the dark tower series for a long time because I was afraid I wouldn't like it.  It wasn't your typical King.  I was immediately hooked though.  Give them a try...you won't be disappointed.
