If you are bored

Re: If you are bored

  • I'm a Libertarian according to the poll, which is what I view myself as anyway.
  • I know. This poll wasn't a big surprise lol! I read some of the comments and I guess people got answers they did not want.

  • I was interested by some of the results of the poll. Especially the one regarding flag burning. The majority thought it should be illegal.
  • My results: "Overall, you would most likely fit into the category of Hardcore Republican".
I'm definitely a conservative - but I wouldnt say "hardcore"?

  • Moderate. What! What!
  • I broke the poll.

    You are SO hardcore. :P

  • Sh!t, nevermind everyone, Nug broke the poll!

  • It says I'm a hardcore Democrat. I don't like that. I don't know how one can a "hardcore" Democrat. Dems are too conservative for me!

Also, some I didn't like the "maybe/don't care response." There's a big difference between thinking some things are justified in certain circumstance and not in others and just not caring.

Yeah I didn't like how they lumped "maybe" in with "don't care".  Like for AA, I would have picked "maybe" but not "don't care".

  • Yeah, there is a big diffrence between maybe and I don't care. I agree!

    Yes Anna!

  • Just a regular Democrat.  Not surprising :P

    See!  Hippie

  • I'm a Democrat. No shock to me :)

  • All my categories contained the word "moderate," yet at the end I'm classified as a Democrat.

    Meh.

  • Democrat.  These quizzes always have issues with me.... I'm generally socially liberal and fiscally conservative.  Basically, I just want the government to stay the f out of my life ;)  Although, I do believe in national health care (go figure.)
  • I am a socially progressive, moderately capitalist, libertarian pacifist.

no big surprises. I'm glad they gave me definitions of all that stuff, though, because I hate politics and am not up to date with all the current labels.

You are a social moderate. You think the progressive movement is overall well meaning, but sometimes it goes too far. On issues like abortion and affirmative action, you see the negatives of both extremes on the issue. You probably value religion, but at the same time you think it should still stay separate from the government

    HUH?

  • I'm a democrat. Slightly surprising, but I guess between the two major parties that's where I'd fall.

I'd say you are like me - Libertarian, but only if you accept :) 'Cept fer the health care thingy. But Libertarians generally are socially liberal (most) and fiscally conservative. They love capitalism and are not crazy about big government. But there are several types of Libertarianism, just as with liberals and conservatives.
  • I got democrat.

Same here. I'm "generally a Democrat".

So I clicked that we should not keep troops in Iraq and it said "You think it's important to continue the pursuit of the Iraq war and keep our troops there". Um..no that's the opposite of what I said...

</div><div>sounds about right. I should clarify- I don't want the health care that Obama tried to push through the system.  I do, however, think we need some serious restructuring.

  • That is where I stand on HC too although now, it's a moot point lol!

  • flag burning illegal??

Oh geez. It's the only proper way to dispose of a flag that has been damaged beyond repair.

I love you Missy. Even though you are not smart enough to take online quizzes to find out really important information. ~cew
  • I don't think our flag should be burned, well unless it is damaged like you said Missy.

  • Most of mine came back as moderate, but it says I probably fit best with Republican, which I think is mostly because the options of yes/no/maybe are too broad, some of those questions have a lot of "if's" in there...  I'm actually registered as an Independant though because I am socially very liberal, but fiscally conservative, so I tend not to agree with any party 100%, in fact, a lot of times I think they are both out of line.
