It's been slow on here this morning (or afternoon, now), so here is a bunch of random questions if you are bored... I'm sorry if these have been covered before, I just thought I'd try to spark some conversation...

1. What is (or was) your first dance song?

Have a Little Faith - Jewel version. The line "When the tears you cry are all you can believe, just give these loving arms a try, and have a little faith in me" really summed up our relationship when we went through bad times.

2. What is your favorite show on TV right now?

Glee. I feel like I don't really enjoy watching anything else in the current lineup. I miss the old shows like Scrubs,

3. Do you think kilts are sexy?

Eh, not particularly

4. What is your stance on gay marriage (not commitment ceremonies, actual marriages)?

I think it should be legal everywhere. I do understand some of the legal worries (people marrying their roommate for benefits being the most recent I've heard) but they are still people.

5. If you could have any car in the world, which on would it be?

I love my Chevy Cobalt I would get a Camaro for H though.

6. What is your all-time favorite recipe?
Cheesecake Brownies.

5. If you could have any car in the world, which on would it be? Right now I'd like to have the new Crosstour. My last 6 cars have been Honda's

Property Virgins and House Hunters since I'm house hunting.  Even though the host of Property Virgins annoys me. 

3. Do you think kilts are sexy?
I guess they could be.  I've yet to see one accomplish this though.

4. What is your stance on gay marriage (not commitment ceremonies, actual marriages)?

I think Anna said it really well.  I think any couple, gay or straight, can abuse the sanctity of marriage by using it for legal (insurance, taxes, citizenship, so on and so forth)benefits so I don't believe an entire group of people should be excluded from marriage based on this argument.

5. If you could have any car in the world, which on would it be?

I bought a new car pretty recently that I love (Nissan Rogue) but I wouldn't say no to a little 2 seater convertible for my Sunday cruisin'. 

6. What is your all-time favorite recipe?
Veal marsala.  Mmmm...

ETA: I totally misunderstood this question. Ironically enough, it'll be "Question" by Old 97's.

Probably The Big Bang Theory.

Not in particular.

I am all for it. I'm pretty sure divorce ruined the "sanctity of marriage" more than letting gay people have the benefits any other person would be entitled to would.

5. If you could have any car in the world, which on would it be?

It looks like it would be capable of time travel. I like that.

6. What is your all-time favorite recipe?
I don't really have one. My mom's stew is amazing though.

I should probably answer my own questions, huh?
1. What is (or was) your first dance song? We're not entirely sure yet. FI wants some AC/DC, I'm thinking more along the lines of "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison or "Angel" by Jack Johnson.
2. What is your favorite show on TV right now? Big Bang Theory, by far. I love the Office, too, but I close on Thursdays at work, so I try to catch it online.

3. Do you think kilts are sexy? Yeah, but I may be biased since FI has one and it looks damn good. He has nice calves.


4. What is your stance on gay marriage (not commitment ceremonies, actual marriages)? Who says you can only love someone of the opposite sex? I have a coworker who has been with his partner for 30+ years. Yet if something were to happen to him, his partner would not be allowed to see him in the hospital or make any decisions, leaving it up to his family, whom he doesn't get along with. I think that's insane. If marriage is based on love (at least nowadays), what does it matter what sex the other person is?
5. If you could have any car in the world, which on would it be? Something that would be safe to drive in the snow!
6. What is your all-time favorite recipe? Um... anything Mexican! I grew up on Mexican food! FI does have a family recipe for a marinade that we put on the turkey for Thanksgiving last year. Combined with the potato rolls he also made from scratch, it was a fantastic meal! (Sorry, just drooled a bit on my keyboard...)

Deadliest Catch and True Blood, although the seasons are over. Other than that, I don't really have a favorite.

Not really.

They should be legal, and people need to get over themselves on thinking gay couples shouldn't have the right to marry.

5. If you could have any car in the world, which on would it be?
I'm happy with my truck.

My mom's beef pie supreme. I have the recipe but haven't cooked it yet. For some reason, nothing I make turns out as good as my mom's.

Not having one. FI and I both agree that we don't want to do any kind of dances/dance floor/band/dj/anything like that.

Ooh, tough one. Probably RHOBH.

I'm all for it. It amazes me how much controversy there is about that.

There's a few I'd like to have. But if I have to choose one this instant, probably the Bugatti Veyron.

Oh yes. My mom makes an incredible Sour Cream Bean Soup and also Korean Beef. Both incredibly easy tomake and I have the recipes, but I can never make them taste as good :(

My mom adds this and that, tweaks recipes in her own way, so it's impossible to make food just like she does. Even something as simple as a tuna sandwich tastes better when she makes it. Or maybe it's a comfort thing. I love going home and enjoying dinner with family.

Considering that FI and the GM's are wearing them for the wedding I would hope so. (FI is wearing my family tartan which I think is totally awesome)

Our "couple" is FI's BM and his boyfriend and I would LOVE to be a part of their wedding some day.

I would like my car, but have it be newer and not falling apart. (jeep grand cherokee!!)

My mom's Double Layer Pumpkin Pie. It has a layer of cream cheese in it which is horrifyingly bad for your and delicious.

5. If you could have any car in the world, which one would it be?  I don't know.  I love my Jeep Liberty, but it's almost ten years old and the new models are so boxy.  Something similar, probably.  I'm not much of a car person.

6. What is your all-time favorite recipe?  FI makes this beef and broccoli recipe that is amazing!  Now I'm wondering if I can convince him to make it for dinner tomorrow night....
