Stupid Question - Post Labor Day Sales?

So I'm notorious for NEVER going to post holiday sales. On Black Friday I try to never even leave the house. People just drive me f*cking bonkers those days.

Sooo.. here's the stupid part of the question: Are there usually 'after Labor Day' sales?

FI and I are redoing the master bedroom and we only have to get a new duvet cover and sheets and we're done. We were thinking of going to the mall tomorrow to get it done asap. But if there are gonna be a bunch of sale crazed people everywhere, I'm keeping my happy ass at home and waiting another day or two.

In the current economy, most stores are always having a sale.  I can say that I was at JC Penny today and they are having HUGE home sale going on...not sure how long it lasts though.

No.  Labor Day sales are usually Saturday, Sunday, Monday of Labor Day weekend.

I heard a couple clerks talking at Macy's that they will be having a big "One Day" sale next weekend. That usually means it is officially on Saturday but unadvertised on Friday and at the store closest to me they honor those sale prices on Thursday night (confused yet?)

Rats! You should have gone to IKEA this weekend. They had duvets for $9.99. My MOH bought 2.

I work at a JCPenney and I cant tell you our 80% off sale won't be going away until that merchandise is gone and it usually gets marked down to 2.97 if its been sitting for awhile! Hopefully that helps a bit! Good luck!

We were there yesterday (spent WAY too much money! lol) and they didn't have anything on hand that we liked. I wish they would have since we got pretty much everything else that we needed there!
