There were seven--SEVEN--announcements about the flu shot, in addition to an email from the nurse.  You interrupted my class, during a test no less, that many times.  We get it.

I flame the more than 50% of our guests who have still not RSVP'd. The deadline is tomorrow. I'll try to not be grumpy when I call all 100 of them, but I can't guarantee anything.

Sometimes I wish I was a man- they seem to have it easier.

    Dear boss-
We bought the house we loved, whether you like it or not.  I really don't care if you think we should have bought a brand new house, we didn't care for any of the brand new houses and their yards suck.  They are teeny tiny and sloped which makes it ridiculous to mow.  Also I don't really care for the new subdivisions where all the houses are stacked on each other; I like my space.  We got a lot more space for our money going with what we did.  Yes we realize we have some work to do and even though you have expressed many many times you would have walked away, well we aren't you. I get it, I really do but do you have anything positive to say at all about anything?  And yes, our house is bigger than yours and we paid less.  GET OVER IT.

I flame the Knot. "We are sorry web forum service is not available now." is not something I want to see on a Friday. Especially the Friday before my wedding in which I am OVER working.

And it's not letting me send PM's. It keeps telling me "user not found"

On the whole RSVP topic: Why do people wait until after the RSVP deadline to tell me they want to bring people.

Yeh, I still have over half of my RSVPs outstanding too, and my deadline was 10/1.  It was a little early, I know, but still.  But, we have about a 50% yes-rate, so that's kinda cool... the guest list because a monster of "we need to invite so-and-so so they won't be offended" so I am happy there are some no's... and that I already have 125 confirmed guests.  Big Wedding, here we come :)

I flame my IT department for being incapable of doing anything properly.  That is all.

My boss is getting married this month.  I got an invitation to his fiancee's "champagne reception" and tea at the Mansion, no less.  I cannot WAIT!  She was listed as "wife-elect" of my boss on the invitation.  Ben got a kick out of that one.

I have no idea what to wear to this.

I flame the boss who has me order in food every week (just for her!) on the company's tab just because she is too cheap to pay for it herself, then tells me it's not in the budget to cater the Christmas party.

I flame people who care about what other people do for their wedding. I understand E exist, but it doesn't apply to everyone and now a days people are doing their own things. There is no reason for you to get on someone else for their decision on their wedding they are paying for. It doesn't effect you... get over it. Sorry I've been lurking other boards too much. Some of these girls are getting to me.

Me too. I had to leave the budget boards for a while cause people over there were getting too whiny. And the Military girls are just plain MEAN to eachother.

What are people's plans for this weekend??
My sister and nephew's are coming into town tomorrow. We are just working on Engagement stuff all weekend. It'll be busy but a great weekend

This hardly seems the week to do this, but every time FFF comes up, I feel like flaming the people who flame completely uncontroversial things.  The whole purpose of FFF is to finally say something that's not polite to say about someone or something.  Flaming the weather or lack of sleep is not flaming, it's complaining.  That's for Monday.

That said, I come to this board more for general chit chat than wedding stuff anyway, and since it's been quiet today, I can't really flame the people who decided to go the B&M route today.  At least it's conversation :

I am attempting to DIY my hair fascinator this weekend. I bought some hairpieces/brooches at H&M when I was in NYC and they are my base/inspiration for the fascinator. I'm getting feather supplies at Hobby Lobby and going to town tomorrow. My MOH who lives in NYC sent me a few extras so I can afford to ruin 2 of them while experimenting.

Haha, well, I might be in the minority of sticklers. :)  Some would accuse those of us who have been on the board longer for being easily irritated by the sweet, well-meaning newbies.  So that's why I have had that flame in mind for weeks without saying it - it's not really a flame that is worth taking seriously. :)

But welcome to FFF.  Sorry that it's been a disappointingly quiet day.  Some get very drama-filled and can be rather entertaining.
