Snarky Brides

Frasier

This show is why I stay up late, I love the reruns on Lifetime.

I'm watching the one that starts out with Niles trying to iron his pants when he inadvertently sets the couch on fire.

Re: Frasier

  • I love Frasier.  That's all.

I like watching in the morning.  Especially on snow days!
  • I always have it on in the morning when I'm getting ready for work!

  • Even hearing the theme song makes me happy.  And I love how the little picture/logo always changes.
  • Haha me too!

Ben wants to get a dog after we're married and he wants Eddie (the little terrier).  Unfortunately no dog of that breed (except Eddie) actually behaves as calmly as that little dog on the show, and I don't like little dogs.  Boo.

  • Yeah, Jack Russel terriers are (I think I read this) the smartest breed.  They're super high energy, though.  My mom is afraid of small dogs, but she gradually came to love ours.
  • Yep high energy definitely - I know puppies are anyway but I don't think I could handle a little dog who yips around constantly for most of his years of life.

  • Do you like larger dogs?  I gre up with Labs and would love to have one again, although obviously not in our apartment.
  • LOVE larger dogs.  The bigger and more clumsy the better.

My family back home has a half yellow lab, half chow right now.  His name is Bubba.  And he's KICK ASS.

He does shed a lot though.  No matter how much you brush him, he just walks by you and it's like a fur storm.

My mom used to shave him in the summer time.  I'd come home to visit and drive up in the driveway to a half-shaved dog.  Poor thing looked like he had mange because he'd been shaved in patches.  I guess he wouldn't sit still long enough for her to shave him all at once so it would take her several days before she was finished.

Aw, poor baby!  I think I have seen this picture before--I recognize his cute face.

I love big dogs, too.  I love that you can just grab them and hug them.  When I was moving, though, I wanted another dog (ours died when I was student teaching) and I knew I needed a little one.  That's how I found my doxie/beagle. But my friend has a super-yappy little fluffy white dog.
  • I used to watch it alllll the time when I was little. I loved Daphne, I thought she was so pretty.
  • I LOVE beagles!  I want one so bad!  My co-worker has one and he brings her to the office all the time.  She's so sweet.

  • It's my favorite.

  • Frasier definitely a late night show for me

My mom always refused to get a dog while i was growing up.  Later she said we could have one, but only if it was Eddie, and it had to be trained like eddie...yah no dog for us.
  • I love Frasier, especially the earlier seasons which were the cleverest. And their titles for the different "acts" of each episode were amazing.

I once had a (horrible, shallow, vapid) roommate who could not STAND that show, and would pitch a fit if we tried to put it on the tv. She said she just could not get it. Then again, she had no sense of humor and was an idiot, so there's that.
