Hi ladies.  It's snowing here and it's making me grumpy.  It would be a perfect day to curl up on the couch with the doggy and watch bad TV.  But alas, I'm at work.  What's everyone else up to today?

Same old, same old.  My sister is on a business trip to Louisiana for the next week so I have to use the unreliable public transit to get home (yucko) Not to rub it in, but it's supposed to be 70's and 80's through Tuesday so I'm pretty toasty right now

What's funny is that it was almost 80 here yesterday.  This city is nuts, weather-wise.

I can finally stalk the 10 day forecast for the wedding!  Right now they're showing 66 degrees, partly cloudy, 10% chance of rain.  Not too shabby.

I am also trying to convince myself that I don't really hate my dress, I'm just panicking at the last minute and yesterday was a bad day in which I didn't really feel like trying it on.

Snow...ick! I don't envy you, and I would soooo want to curl up on the couch on a day like that. Hopefully it warms up soon!

I am stuck at work too but at least the sun is out and it is warming up. Meeting with our final reception vendor this evening and making some decisions tonight!

I just feel kind of lumpy in it.  It's got a bunch of underlayers that keep bunching funny at my hips and have to be pulled down constantly, and I feel like it's because of my giant Sasquatch birthing hips.  And they took in the top and there's definite cleavage.  I think I'm getting self-conscious because I finally realized, hey, 100 people have to see me in this in a week.

It could also be because I've been wearing old, stretched-out Spanx to the fittings, but I'm wearing a new, super sucky-inny pair for the wedding.  So, hopefully that will help.

Good morning!  I'm in an excellent mood this morning because yesterday I got all up in one of the upper level manager's faces via email, and the CEO was copied in.  When I got in this morning and saw an email from the CEO I was pretty sure I'd get a stern talking to, but instead he 100% backed me on the issue.  That really made my whole week.

My SO is in his last finals before he's officially DONE with law school. So he'll be great next week, but this week... 

He has this nasty habit of always thinking he failed the test. The more poorly he thinks he did leaving the test, the higher on the grade curve he actually is. If he wasn't so mopey, it would be kind of funny. 

I go into work today at 10:30 but I am up early because SO wanted to grind his espresso fresh this morning, pound it in the espresso maker and steam a bit of milk for his latte. We live in a loft so I could all steps that go into making his latte.

Thanks, guys.  I know it's likely because I'm kind of in last minute panic/I don't care mode, and I'm sure it'll be fine the day of.

Also, I managed to break a wedding gift last night WHILE unwrapping it.  Go me.
