Lol I love this.

I have a friend on facebook who up and started her own pet grooming company in one day.  Her day job is a secretary and she facebooks allllllllll day long.  In the morning she posted, "So-and-so is contemplating starting a pet grooming business."  By lunch, she posted pictures of mock ups of possible business cards.  By the end of the day when I left work, she had created a fan page for her "pet grooming business," asked me to become a fan (or, I guess "like" it) and announced she was now open to take clients.

OMG this is my biggest grievance with a lot of designers who say "I have PhotoShop and InDesign now! I'm a designer!" No, you're not. 90% of my work is created with a pen and paper and brainstorming for hours. Then I go to my TOOL, my computer, and do the final layout. My creativity and talent make my designs, not my computer.

If you got those awesome skillz while studying typography, illustration, fine art, art history, marketing, accounting, photography and layout/design for years, then YES. You, my dear, are a graphic designer!

I'm currently annoyed with one of high school friends I just recently came back into contact with, but I still love her. She's 25 with 3 kids, and is whining that it's going to be soooo hard to get back to her pre-baby weight. She's sick of being a size 2...She's 5'6 and skinny as a twig, even in her pregnancy pictures.

I'm annoyed at myself right now. Scott and I had planned to do a lot of errands and get a lot done around the house today while Katie was getting her teeth cleaned, and then I randomly got stupid sick. So I slept all day and he cleaned out his garage, and I couldn't even get enough energy to tell him how awesome the garage looks. Of course now that it's too late to go anywhere (we need to monitor the dog) I feel fabulous.

I hate being stuck behind a group of slow walking people who take up the whole sidewalk.

I hate people talking loudly on their cell phones.

I hate humidity.

In addition, I'm insanely annoyed at one of our office interns. 

I know it's not nice to say but damn, he's just effing strange.  Before he was hired he came to interviews dressed in suits and acted very normal and nice and everything.  After he got the job he comes around dressed in what could be pajamas, or old jean shorts and t-shirts with holes in them, AND - bright red, huge, Nicole Richie sunglasses.  What the hell.

I would be willing to look past all that if he wasn't so effing annoying - other than sitting at his laptop and surfing the internet all day, I'm not quite sure what his purpose is around here.  But he hums a lot.  And sings.  Randomly.  There's only five people in this office so... it's pretty noticeable.

AATB - One of the teachers at my high school randomly starts rocking out to herself. I can understand humming or even quietly singing while you are working on lesson plans, but she'll start belting out, air guitarring, etc. My boss saw her one day and asked me if it was a "26 year old thing" or if she was just strange.

LOL Katie... yeah, I'd say if she's anything like our little intern, she's just flat out strange.

I also forgot to mention that this kid is a DEAD RINGER for Dwight Schrute from The Office.  Kinda creeps me out every time.

Ok new annoyance which I am venting about here because otherwise I will go off on my TTC board which is really bad.
New girl comes on "Hi everyone, this is my first month TTC (just got off BC yesterday) and I'm so excited! I'm sorry to hear about all the BFN's but just think, you can try again next month!!!!!"

I know she has good intentions, but saying "You can try again next month" to people on these boards is not being helpful. Some of the ladies have been "trying again next month" for over 3 years. It is not encouragement.

And, when people don't even use their turn signals.  That bothers me SOOOOOOOO much.

Also, it may be strange, but it REALLY bothers me when people use 'u' instead of 'you' (and 'ur' instead of 'your', but not as badly)

my biggest annoyance is when Im at the grocery store and some jacka$$ leaves their cart in the middle of the aisle while standing on whatever side or 2 people stand there talking blocking the aisle. Just get out of the dang way! how hard is it to push your cart to 1 side or MOVE if you see youre in the way....DH teases me and says I have shoppers rage lol.
